APRIL is #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth 25 yrs strong.
As music lovers, we know the power of a fire playlist. But what if some of the lyrics we bump daily are quietly normalizing sexual assault, drugging, stalking, or taking advantage when someone is drunk?
THREAD 🧵
akagambo sovereignty kategezaaki btw muu Uganda eliwo kati nebino byowandiise?
People need to understand that Buganda’s power has always been in strategic patience. This is the same patience that expanded the empire from just four counties to 12. 800 years later Buganda is still the most powerful and important nation-state in territorial Uganda, the only one with unmatched social integrity(despite deliberate stratification) , highest population (despite deliberate undercounting by all recent census’s) highest growth rate, highest economy (despite deliberate economic disenfranchisement) and highest education level. When the dynamics of power change(and they will change), Buganda has put everything in place to take back its sovereignty.

So men are killing themselves because of… sex?? 🤣🤣🤣
Replying to @blacksavichi
I am German, and the main reason men are killing themselves is because of loneliness, majority of women are fucking minority of men, life as a man is extremely competitive because women are taking more corporate jobs.
Btw the minute that girl had her top off, security should have removed her from there.
And when she was down & off the table & screaming for people to get away from her. There’s a group of boys that fell on her instead. May they all die.
Y’all be safe out there.
you guys are always creating versions of feminism and that shit doesnt exist, one thing is for sure feminism is against the patriarchy so coming here to tell us about husbands like there is another version of feminism that goes to bed with patriarchy is funny but okay
I genuinely think a time will come when many women will regret supporting the version of feminism being glorified today.
And I’m not talking about equal rights, opportunities, or financial independence.
I’m talking about pseudo-feminism that teaches women they don’t need a man, compromising is weakness, making sacrifices is losing yourself, and that earning money means you should never have to adjust for anyone.
Where respecting your husband is called submission, putting effort into a relationship is considered desperate, and walking away is celebrated more than working things out.
And I think many women will realise how damaging this mindset was, perhaps in their late thirties or forties, when they look back and understand that they were taught to see partnership as a burden rather than something worth building.
I genuinely believe that day is not very far away.
