Officially official. Posterior tibial tendinopathy and some low grade ligament tearing👍.
MRI this morning, no results yet, but I’m anticipating good things 👍
The MRI tech was great, but not a runner, he politely suggested that I “be really careful to take care of my joints” if I’m going to continue to run.
He asked how much I run and I told him “usually daily”. I didn’t have the heart tell him how many miles per week I’ve put in over the last several years 🤣
Ok well, John Elder ( whoever that is) has spoken. See you all in Hell 🫡🥵
I’ve got some work to do…but the comeback is going to be epic! I’m going to enjoy every second! running alone and “all sports” in the last 3 months vs 2 years ago..
If you want some bad advice read below 👎
You jog 4 miles every morning and your waistline hasn't improved at all. You've destroyed your knees for nothing.
Of all the ways to exercise, the light jog is one of the worst. Your ancestors walked most of the day and ran all out when they had to go after prey, or run away from a threat, or toward a child in danger. They didn't jog.
Walk. Sprint. Skip the middle.
I will never be one of those guys that says that “walking is better than running”. …but you can indeed get a decent workout by walking 😎. This is about 1 mile walking on the treadmill at 15mph, 10-15% incline progression.

+1 for whole “real” foods
Ultra-processed foods trigger a bigger insulin response than less-processed ones, even when they contain identical calories and nutrients.
When people consumed two different meals matched closely for protein, carbs, fat, and fiber, the ultra-processed one produced a larger insulin response despite a similar overall blood glucose response. It also blunted the normal shift toward burning carbohydrates after eating and changed the brain's response to eating.
I’ve talked before about Kevin Hall’s trial, where people eating an ultra-processed diet consumed about 500 extra calories per day and gained weight. This new study explains another part of why UPFs are so problematic - it shows that the way food is processed can change how our bodies handle it and even how our brains perceive it!
I’ve seen too much gross and creepy behavior from this “Pastor”. …added to the mute list for ignorant buffoonery, demonic nonsense, and just being an A-hole.

The ’69 Oregon XC team: back row, assistant coach Bill Dellinger, coach Bill Bowerman, Mike Lyons, Mike McClendon, Norm Trerise, Terry Dooley; front row, Tom Morrow, Prefontaine, Steve Savage
Canadians Terry Dooley/Norm Trerise, pretty decent runners
Dr. visit today, MRI is still pending, but they now fully suspect tendon issue instead of bone. Cleared for easy weight bearing and this felt fantastic! 6% incline walk, maybe the best workout of my life! 🙏👆👆🙏
Pray for Paris. …but God bless this woman!
The most dystopian fitness video on the internet just dropped. 🚨💀
Paris is literally burning, protesters are shutting down the streets, and this woman is casually jogging past a burning barricade like it’s a treadmill session. She is literally running through thick black smoke because hitting her daily step count is a higher priority than whatever revolution is happening around her.
Pure, unfiltered main character syndrome. The absolute disrespect to the entire riot.
