Another article which will form part of my PhD dissertation was published last month in European Journal of Philosophy. You can find it here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
Though sadly it's not open access - if you can't access it and want a copy, just let me know! ✨
At the eye doctor's due to some weird sight things happening and they ask 'well were you stressed that day' and ... i don't know how to answer whether i was stressed THAT day?! The real answer is 'i'm doing a phd' also known as 'yes, always stressed'
Also this is my (very gently) defiant waiting room reading material (n.b. have not been crying, just had my eyeballs examined) @jlsmilges
My supervisors recommended podcasts incl. (one of my faves) @overthink_pod to get out of a writing rut, so now i am listening to 'Daddy Issues' for work reasons
Today we're talking about the hidden voices of women philosophers! Sometimes only a really good teaching outfit can fix the greyest, rainiest day (solidarity to everyone as tired as me here)

I've been feeling deeply distressed by the political climate in Austria (staunchly conflating support for Palestine with anti-semitism) and by the refusal of many academics in Vienna to speak out against the genocide of Palestinian people. For me, growing up in Vienna meant 1/
I fail to understand how we cannot see parallels between different cases of oppression, between the holocaust and the genocide & ethnic cleaninsing of Palestinian people. 4/
I am grateful to Ruadhán for putting these feelings into words, for his eloquent analysis of the situation and for calling academics at @univienna to action. 5/5
