When the power of puppy love beats the love of power, the world knows peace. 🐾🏙️ At the Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade, these pups recreated Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus’s viral Empire State Building climb, with the Empire spire on a wagon and a flag bearing the same message: “When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace.” I told the dogs they needed to kiss, and their people told me they’d just gotten married. The Knicks win another title… at the dog parade! 🏆🐶🏀 This Jalen Brunson pup sat inside a giant Knicks basketball on a miniature court, and won first prize at the Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade! The owner said the costume was very challenging to create, so she came up with the concept and had help bringing it to life. The final result was a slam dunk. 🧡💙 @nyknicks
