Hello, it's my birthday and I have a gift for you. I'm sharing something I've been building: Scripturix, a study tool that takes you from a verse to its full context: translations, cross-references, and centuries of trusted commentary. And when you have a question, ask Insight. It answers from those same trusted sources, not from the open internet or AI. It's free, with no ads. Download it on Android or open it on the web: scripturix.app The iPhone version is coming later this month. If you try it, I'd love to hear what you think. play.google.com/store/apps/d…

PAY ATTENTION! A retired Commissioner of Police in Nigeria earns ₦75K as pension, while some receive as little as ₦29K. The Nigerian Police are foolish. They look on as politicians plunder their resources. They even aid the politicians. The Los Angeles Police Department deploys specialized Ford, BMW motorcycles, & Chevrolet Suburbans for K-9 & bomb squads. They have Explorers, Chargers, Impalas, & Tahoes for detectives, gang units, SWAT, & plainclothes officers. The LAPD are well-remunerated by national standards. They are well compensated for overtime & benefits. These are vehicles driven by the rich in Nigeria. In fact, they are seen as luxury brands in there. Annual salary for officers i & ii starts from $93-$127K. In 2025 payrolls data, roughly around 300 LAPD employers earned around $300K Detective iii earned around $450K. For this category, average pay is $200K. On top of this, they have health & dental benefits, & you are entitled to a generous pay leave. Your pension is defined (employee + state contribute). You are entitled to a public loan forgiveness as well. Top detectives & specialists of the department earn as high as $400-600K yearly. On average, I leave a ₦75K/$55 as restaurant tip in California on a weekly spend of around $325. Tipping is %17 on average. And California is the lowest-tipping state in the country. Californians spend slightly less on tips on average than residents in any other state. Nigerians have never truly lived. You are merely surviving, not living. Some of you are fools. You have no idea what you are missing, do you?

Lol, I just stopped by to educate you a little. First, a DJI Pocket 4 is a handheld camera, not a drone. I requested a repair referral because it’s a relatively new gadget in this part of the world. Kindhearted Nigerians who support HE Peter Obi’s presidential ambition offered to replace it. The support wasn’t for me personally, but a gesture of goodwill towards the campaign. One indicator of a candidate’s acceptance is the willingness of people to support without coercion or expectations of anything in return. That’s something you, your boss and the APC cannot boast of. I’m where I’m treated with respect, dignity and love. I can’t say the same for you. I’d encourage you to join the brighter side of the divide, so you won’t be shouting “Akanbi” on a hot Thursday afternoon.
Esther, take a moment to look at yourself. After years of working with Peter Obi, you still have to come on X to solicit crowdfunding before you can afford a basic work tool like a drone. Have you ever seen any of Peter Obi’s children come online to beg for financial assistance? Why do politicians' children enjoy comfort while young people who dedicate their lives working for them struggle to afford basic necessities? Never make a politician your entire future. Build your own life!

Mine wasn't a dream but I have tried to imagine this very situation recently. Maybe the signs are getting stronger? I'm hoping anyone who opposes a working Nigeria doesn't live to see it work.
So Peter Obi became president after a colossal power tussle that had people in the streets, which intimately got BAT exiled to France. US tried to get involved but PO wasn't having it. His first order of action was commission a rapid construction project for new prisons. He then had the current prisoners moved to the new buildings, combed the entire government for criminals, charged them to court and had them sent to the old prisons because they didn't deserve to be in the new ones 😭

They said African languages were too fragmented, too complex and too commercially insignificant to build advanced AI for. We disagreed. So we built it. 64 languages. 166 voices. 3 billion parameters. ONE model. Today, we are unveiling STORM-Ensemble 3.0, the most capable multilingual speech synthesis model we have built at PlotWeaver. From Yorùbá, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin to Swahili, Amharic, Wolof, Zulu, Xhosa and dozens more, STORM-Ensemble 3.0 generates speech across 64 languages, with 166 distinct speaker voices. Every voice you hear is generated by our model, not a prerecorded sample. But the real breakthrough isn't the numbers. It's what becomes possible when this technology is in the hands of people who can build with it. -African filmmakers distributing stories across languages. -Banks and telcos serving customers in their mother tongues. -Education platforms reaching more children. -Developers building voice AI products without starting from scratch. We are not building AI for African languages simply to prove it can be done. We are building the infrastructure to make our languages commercially viable at global scale. Next week, I will be speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Antigua about unlocking the Commonwealth's creative potential. This launch is a practical demonstration of that ambition. Africa must not simply consume the future of AI. We must build, own and shape the infrastructure that powers it. Watch the video. Listen to the voices. Imagine what's possible. Introducing STORM-Ensemble 3.0. PlotWeaver. Build Once. Speak Every Language. #PlotWeaver #STORMEnsemble #VoiceAI #AfricanLanguages

Women think it’s until they stab their husbands with knife or shoot with gun, that’s only when they kill. They don’t know that emotional and mental stress can kill. There was a compound we lived in while we were growing up. I was about 12 years old at the time. Between when I was 12 and when I turned 15, about three men died in that compound. The last man that died, only God knows if he wasn’t stressed, because his wife was always complaining. The wife was always shouting and fighting the husband 24/7. At some point, we heard that the man lost his job. Then it got to a point where the man told my dad that he couldn’t sleep in that house because the stress from his wife was too much. This continued until the man died. After the man died, my father became the only elderly man in that compound. Then, she started calling my father to help her do things. My mother no gree o. My mother did not accept it at all. My mother said, my father already had enough responsibilities of his own. After finishing what he was doing, he would now have to carry somebody else’s load. There was a day one young woman in the compound quarrelled with her and told her something. Because my mother doesn’t even like to say these things because she is the kind of person who is always cautious about what she says to people. The woman told her, “After you have killed your own husband with stress, you now want to start using somebody else’s husband to run errands for you; you think we did not see you??” The woman started getting angry and crying, like she wanted to gaslight her. Go and check a lot of homes. Stress everyday. Everyday quarrel. Everyday fighting. There was a friend of mine who used to do the same thing to her husband. They were only three years into their marriage. She would call me and say, “See what my husband did every time.” And if you check the complaint, very meaningless stuffs. I told her, “Babe, calm down. If you lose this man with all these things you are doing, I’m not even talking about divorce this time around. If this man dies, you will regret the day you were born.” (That man was more or less the breadwinner for her. She wasn’t doing anything.) I told her, “Calm down. Take care of your husband. Let him be. Let him do his thing cos he’s an adult.” There was a time her husband fell ill. He couldn’t work nor do anything. She came to me crying. I told her, “It’s only sickness o. Now imagine you lose this man. This one na sign God just give you” A lot of women pressure their husbands without even knowing what that man is already going through as a person, because men don’t speak. They will put pressure and pressure and pressure until they lose that man. Then they start crying at the burial, as if they were not part of what that man was going through. They think to kill somebody is by gun or any physical stuffs. There are different ways you can destroy somebody’s health and wellbeing. If you think this post is a lie. Go and speak to a mortuary attendant. They will tell you the percentage of men they bring to the mortuary every day is over 70% compared to women. But when it comes to childbirth, women will come here and rant. Let’s not even talk about how a lot of women are slowly poisoning their husbands.
A woman loses her cool at a funeral in Imo state as gender imbalance in mortality rate rocks Ala Igbo. According to the beautiful womans data: 8 out of 10 obituaries in the southeast are men due to prevailing financial burdens and domestic toxicity they have to deal with a daily, often caused by their wives. Enough already someone has to speak up,thank you Ada Imo.

They didn't play football. They committed robbery. And they smiled while doing it. For 12 years, Bayern Munich didn't have wingers. They had two forces of nature on opposite flanks. On the left, Franck Ribéry. A boy from the streets of Boulogne sur Mer who survived a car crash at 2 years old that left a scar on his face. He played like the scar, raw, fearless, beautiful. The ball was not at his feet, it was in his pocket. He would look at a full back, grin with missing teeth, and say come and take it. Nobody ever could. On the right, Arjen Robben. Bald, thin, cold. The most honest man in football, because he told you exactly what he was going to do. I will cut inside on my left foot and score. You knew. The defender knew. The goalkeeper knew. 80,000 fans knew. And he still did it. Every single time. A crime you see coming but can't stop. They called them Robbery. And this picture? This laugh? This is after the storm. They hated each other once. In 2012, after a Champions League semi final, Ribéry slapped Robben in the dressing room over a free kick. Bayern lost the final that year at home. Robben missed a penalty. Ribéry was suspended. They were broken. Two geniuses who couldn't stand each other. But beauty is born from broken things. A year later, Wembley, London. Champions League Final. Dortmund. 89th minute, 1-1. Ribéry receives the ball, injured, bleeding, exhausted. He doesn't shoot. He does the most unselfish thing a street fighter can do, he gives. A delicate backheel, through the chaos, into Robben's path. Robben, the man who missed a year before, the man who was called a choker, runs and finishes. Left foot. Of course. And Bayern wins the Treble. That hug in this picture is not just a celebration. It is forgiveness. It is redemption. It is two men who realized they needed each other to be immortal. They stayed for 10 more years. 8 Bundesligas. They left on the same day, May 18th, 2019. Both scored in their last game. Both cried. They didn't create beauty like Messi or Ronaldo. They created a different beauty. The beauty of the wing. The beauty of taking your man on. The beauty of two flawed, difficult, brilliant men learning to love each other on a football pitch. Football will never see another Robbery.
Who were these guys?

Coming back to this. There are many Indian owned businesses in the UK and due to community strength, they employ each other and give themselves job sponsorship to remain in the UK. They encourage and support each other to start businesses, get job and bring others in. A Nigerian would be selling sponsorship that is not even his company. There is no job, just sponsorship. You'll still go outside to look for work to pay bills after paying £10k. We hide update because we want to be better than the next person.
This young man makes a sensible comparison between the Indian and Nigerian communities in the diaspora, and how they behave differently when they move to Canada or the UK. There are vital lessons we can learn here:

We all came back from this visit and every single one of us fell ill. The air in that place is different. The environment is no place where any human being should have to live. Yet, we saw children competing for space with houseflies and rodents. The water they drink is barely fit to look at. The rooms they sleep in are cramped and far from clean. Some sleep on bare floors, while others lie on mattresses that have become almost completely flat from years of use. No food. No electricity. Nothing. Nigerians are suffering. And for a country with the resources Nigeria has, it is heartbreaking to see children subjected to such conditions while public resources are lost to corruption and waste. Every Nigerian child deserves food, clean water, a safe home, electricity, dignity and hope.
HE.Peter Obi and Sen. Rabius Kwankwaso visit on of the unhealthiest IDP camp in Sokoto. Nigeria is not okay.
