Many people see an illustration of the Martin-Baker MB-5 fighter prototype and think it's an advanced North American P-51 Mustang.
Check out the image below and you'll find that the MB-5 was a LOT bigger than a Mustang!

🇺🇸🇺🇦‼️ While Donald Trump continues to criticize Volodymyr Zelensky, the CIA is reportedly maintaining crucial intelligence cooperation with Ukraine, helping Kyiv identify targets deep inside Russia and providing early warnings of incoming missile and drone attacks.
According to The Atlantic, American intelligence support has contributed to Ukrainian strikes against Russian targets, reportedly with results significant enough to cause concern within the Trump administration.
Despite this cooperation, Ukrainian officials do not regard CIA Director John Ratcliffe as a guaranteed protector of their interests. They recognize that he ultimately answers to Trump and would be expected to follow a presidential order to suspend intelligence assistance.
Nevertheless, years of cooperation have reportedly established a degree of trust. Ukrainian officials believe Ratcliffe provides Trump with an accurate assessment of the war rather than simply telling the president what he wants to hear.
🔥 The report reveals a significant distinction between Washington’s political disagreements with Kyiv and the intelligence cooperation that continues behind the scenes.
American intelligence remains valuable to Ukraine not only for identifying Russian military targets but also for detecting incoming attacks and protecting Ukrainian cities.
However, the arrangement remains vulnerable to political decisions in Washington. Even a well-established intelligence partnership can be disrupted if the White House decides to change course.
For Ukraine, maintaining access to reliable American intelligence while developing more independent reconnaissance capabilities remains a critical strategic priority.

Poland got its first Italian-built F-35! 🎉 On October 1, the ninth F-35A landed at Łask Air Base, and it's the first Polish jet assembled at Leonardo's plant in Cameri, Italy. The first eight came from Fort Worth. Poland has ordered 32 F-35As and expects 14 on home soil by the end of the year.

It's one of the strangest pieces of shared theater I know of. Both flags come down at once and the gates close.

🇺🇸 The US still has a massive tanker presence around the Middle East.
Around 190–195 refueling aircraft are now stationed across CENTCOM and Europe, roughly back to early September levels.
But here's what's interesting.
More than 90 KC-135 and KC-46 tankers have reportedly made their second or even third trip back to the region.
That's a lot of aircraft moving back and forth.

The USNavy now has two carriers ready to run its MQ-25 Stingray tanker drone! USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) just joined USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) with its own Unmanned Air Warfare Center, the control hub that lets the ship's crew command drones. The Stingray is meant to take over aerial refueling from Super Hornets, which have reportedly spent 20 to 30 percent of their carrier flights just tanking other jets! The first production MQ-25 flew in April, and the Navy plans to buy 76. Not flashy, but it might be the most useful drone in the Navy.
