🚨 MATCH OFF 🚨
🌪️ Storm Boelo 1-0 Burradon Travs 🌪️
Today’s clash against South Beach Blyth FC is OFF due to the weather. Beaten by a gust of wind before we’ve even kicked a ball. Sunday League heritage.
No football, no dodgy refereeing decisions, and Finn’s open-goal miss gets another week in the headlines.
Stay safe, lads. We go again next week!
Up the Travs!

🚨 FIXTURE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
After a 5-1 win last week, Burradon Travs are back at Southgate this Sunday to face South Beach Blyth FC, with Storm Boelo joining the opposition! 🌪️
⚽️ 10:30am KO
📍 Southgate Playing Fields
Expect flying long balls, sideways rain and shots ending up in the next postcode. 🌧️ Finn’s open-goal miss last week might be forgotten if the wind scores one for him.
Bring a coat and say a prayer for the referee.

Tough to take after again conceding a last minute winner.
A closely contested game but well done to @HVFC_2007 who battled right to the end to nick it.
Well done to Charlie on his first goal and MOM!

Full time: 5-1 😭😭 Izzy and Joe both bagging braces, Ben Senior getting on the scoresheet, Jon attempting to take the referee to the International Court of Justice, and Finn missing an empty net from 5 yards like he’s being investigated by the Gambling Commission 💀😭 Two questionable decisions, one theatrical reenactment and a miss that’ll haunt Sunday League football for generations. Someone check the CCTV, drug test the goalposts and get Netflix on the phone. Absolute cinema.

Jack gets the ball on the left side of the box and slides it to Jay Adam who under pressure takes a touch and pokes it home!

HALF TIME

We lead at half time thanks to Jacks debut goal. An even half where both teams have had chances, but two great clearances have kept us ahead.

After a good press Rexy prods the ball to Harvey who plays a lovely ball to Jack in the middle who takes a touch and composes himself before burying it past the keeper for a goal on his debut!!!
