Was the grass made with baby oil?
The buildup to the Super Bowl was longer for no one more than those who prepared the field.
Requiring 2 years of preparation, the grass was grown on a local sod farm, installed in January & rolled into the sunshine every morning since.
It looked like this.

Loved the outfit and the song selection. Thought the performance was okay…but if she announces she’s pregnant, then that is impressive no doubt. Thought stage intro/exit looked like an after thought.

This is amazing: For the first time, #Bills S Damar Hamlin is addressing the team via Facetime. The breathing tube is out, and he’s spent the morning speaking to various teammates on Facetime. Now, he’s delivering a message to the entire group, I’m told.
There are many days where I read nothing but division & hatred on this app but the last few days has left me in awe.
To see how many individuals/organizations have come together to bring support & love to Damar Hamlin & his family has been inspiring.

NFL EVP Troy Vincent says they hope Damar Hamlin will make a full recovery but made clear he will be provided resources/benefits necessary to make sure he had what needed for complete life despite Hamlin not being a vested NFL veteran. – at Cincinnati, OH

For the first time, the NFLPA will name The Players’ All-Pro team – voted on by players themselves.
Players can vote for players with the most impact this season at their own position and those they line up against (e.g. WRs vote for WRs and CBs). Voting is open thru Jan. 4.

Multiple @MLS teams inquired about Ronaldo and his future but 1 team was already at the table: @SportingKC
Their offer was so compelling that Ronaldo’s team had multiple meetings w/SKC before taking the Saudi deal. The package (wages/commercial) was said to be “very close”. #MLS

“One day, in heaven, we will play together on the same team. And it will be the first time that I raise my fist in the air in triumph on the pitch without celebrating a goal. It will be because I can finally embrace you again.”

I’ve been informed that TVA’s unilateral rolling blackouts will continue. All non-essential businesses should reduce power usage. I’ve asked the @Titans to postpone their 12pm game in solidarity with our neighbors.
TVA needs to invest in infrastructure to withstand extreme temps
