This is a great post. Most people think it’s a bad run and it is, but they think it’s exceptionally bad bc it happened the 1 time it happened for 2 weeks. When it happens for months and months and months is when you get into the .1-.01% of runs. Most people only ever get a taste

doesn’t matter how many bb/100 you win if u don’t win the high ev$ spots which are anywhere from 3-10 a day for me then u just aren’t gonna win money. If u avg that to 60-200 per month it’s very feasible to run far below ev$ for several months at a time. Variance calcs prove this

I really don’t think most poker players know just how insanely lucky they e never been on a soul crushing downswing before. Most pros have only ever experienced 3mth max and think 1mth constitutes a downswing. That right there tells me they don’t know.
