💵🗓 Equities First pays only $92.5M, 5th Distribution likely not to come this year and #IonicDigital puts creditors recovery now at 124%! As I previously reported on the estate’s $500M settlement with Equities First, I underlined that it stated “payments”, which made it logical to conclude this was a series of transfers. Today with the new admin report you can see @EquitiesFirst paid $92.5M and it mentions periodic payments. AFAIK the information about the cadence of these payment is not public. If these are quarterly payments then by next year it will be finished; if they are yearly payments, then you could be waiting for the next 5 years for all distributions to be completed. Because the payment was small, and assuming this is a yearly payment (and even if it is a quarterly payment), a new distribution is likely only to happen next year. As the estate has kept roughly $127M in their balances after distributions, even if all reserves are unlocked and $91M are released (which is doubtful due to disputed claims), you are left with $168M, a little more than 3%. 🕐A look back at the costs of the litigation and the bankruptcy.. Today, 2 years have passed since emergence, the litigation actions have recovered $889M including a sizable number of clawbacks, but of that 33% ($292.29M) has gone to lawyers, the 7 member LOC, and their expenses. While the cost of the bankruptcy pre-emergence sat at $173.8M, and the cost of maintaining the estate post bankruptcy sits at $96M (including running the skeleton crew of Celsius Network running the claims portal & helping with customer support and distributions). This means creditors in one way or another paid $562M! While the clawbacks so far have only provided $191.5M in revenues. Of course the bankruptcy process also helps with litigations like that of Tether ($299M). 🚀#CelsiusNetwork beats FTX(104%) with the largest dollarized recovery at 124.5% thanks to #IonicDigital Thanks to the UCC(@ThomasADiFiore & @Silkee_D) and part of the community who stressed they wanted a public company rather than continue selling the Bitcoin mining assets at the bottom, the Ionic Digital spin-off originally given at $20 now trades at $70, a x3.5 return! This means if you just HODL your distributed crypto, your BTC would roughly be at +30%, your Eth down -28% and your Ionic shares up +350%! All Distributed Recoveries: Initial distribution -> 57.65% Ionic Digital Shares -> 52.29% (14.94% at emergence) 2nd Distribution -> 2.53% - 2.75%(due to calculation error) 3rd Distribution -> 4.5% 4th Distribution -> 7.2%($ distribution), 6.2%(BTC distribution) Sources Below👇

This very likely signals the settlement of @FireblocksHQ with @CelsiusNetwork and StakeHound Ltd .. the money will be used to settle the lawsuits.. 🥳
NEW: Visa is in late-stage talks to acquire crypto custody and stablecoin infrastructure firm Fireblocks for around $2.5 billion, according to Axios. The potential deal comes as traditional financial institutions expand their involvement in stablecoin infrastructure.

$IOND at $62. Debt-heavy AI players like $CRWV face growing credit pressure. Meanwhile, @IonicDigital has 0 debt. Major #HPC power infrastructure. Current market seems sell the AI class all together. Should separate low-debt, high growth winners from high-risk providers. 📈

$IOND under $69 is a must-buy! The broader market correction comes as US T-Bills touch 5%, signaling higher Fed rates w/ higher inflation & rising diesel prices. Ionic has no debt & Nscale has all the money. It even makes sense to enable margin & use some at these levels!

🚨 $IOND 🚨 Texas Capital just initiated coverage. Buy. $98 target. 👀 Analyst Derrick Whitfield. He is pointing at the power book (800+ MW utility capacity, 346 MW already energized) and the long-term triple-net lease as a capital-efficient earnings base. That is one shop’s note. Not a company filing. Not 700 MW switched on. Jefferies and BTIG were at $85. This one is higher. I will take the extra coverage. I am not treating $98 as a promise. 🗞️ There is now confirmation @IonicDigital is not in the race for any Poolin sites. 😭 All Texas power expansion is now hostage to Governor Abbott's political pandering! Andy still needs to prove himself by bringing more cheap power in '27. Anyway, congratulations to @ashergenoot & @Hut8Corp . They always seem to be a step ahead of the market & remain my largest bet in the space!
THE BLOCK: Hut 8 $HUT emerged as the winning bidder for Poolin’s two Texas data center sites with a $140 million offer, nearly tripling the original $52 million combined floor bid. The former mining-pool giant filed for bankruptcy in July with around $173 million in debt, including nearly $164 million owed to wallet users.

👀Breakdown of @Nscale’s S-1 and balance sheet by @realMeetKevin. It’s mostly a bearish take. Summary: - Revenue in 2024 and 2025 came from crypto-miner leases and related IT support. - Expenses exceeded revenue in 2025 and 2026. - Nscale began pivoting to AI and GPUs in 2022. - The S-1 mentions deficiencies in the 2024 and 2025 financial statements. -The CEO will receive $350 million in stock once the company goes public. - Nscale does not have the funding needed to deliver on its roughly $44 billion Anthropic contract. The IPO is partly intended to address that. - It has 25,000 active GPUs, while its commitments require 461,000 GPUs. The closer Nscale trades to the value of its expected contracted revenue of $103 billion, the more money it can raise and the better its position when negotiating cheaper loans. According to the S-1, only $2.6 billion of that contracted revenue is fully active. Delivering the rest will require a major buildout and significant capital expenditure. Compared with $IOND, the risks are much higher. Nscale has 1,000 employees and needs substantial funding to purchase expensive Nvidia GPUs. Much of the risk, or the bubble, sits with Nvidia and companies such as IREN, Nscale, and Nebius. If demand for compute continues to grow and Nvidia maintains its GPU moat, that risk falls considerably. One major strength Kevin does not mention is Nscale’s data-center experience across multiple jurisdictions. This could give the company an advantage in sovereign AI, where user data must be processed and stored within the user’s own country. (I don't intend to personally delve deeper into Nscale S-1, its way more complex and seems a different risk profile to what I look for.. still any time I see relevance to Ionic Digital I will try to cover and post it here.) youtube.com/live/LV6_d7kaF8I…

🚨 CELSIUS BANKRUPTCY UPDATE The Celsius Litigation Administrator has just sued BitMEX and several related entities over the alleged wrongful liquidation and seizure of 6,360 BTC. At today’s value that is roughly $495m. The timing is very interesting. BitMEX is scheduled to shut its exchange on September 23. Celsius filed the complaint on September 12. Just 11 days before closure. The complaint alleges fraud, market manipulation and wrongful liquidations dating back to March 2020. My interpretation: This may be about more than simply winning damages years from now. When a company is in the middle of winding down, filing a major claim before closure can potentially help preserve claims against assets, entities and counterparties before the structure is dismantled. That does NOT mean Celsius has obtained an injunction stopping BitMEX from closing. I have seen no evidence of that yet. But I would be watching closely for any attempt by the Litigation Administrator to restrict asset transfers, preserve assets, seek an injunction or otherwise prevent value disappearing during the BitMEX wind-down. For Celsius creditors, this is potentially meaningful. $495m would be a very material recovery if anything close to that were ultimately recovered, although the 6,360 BTC losses were shared between Celsius and JST, so it cannot simply be treated as $495m belonging to creditors. For now I am treating it as potential upside rather than adding it to my recovery estimate. But Celsius has just opened another potentially significant recovery channel at exactly the moment BitMEX is preparing to close.
Alex Mashinsky is trying to get his 12-year prison sentence vacated or reduced. One argument is that losses to Celsius creditors were overstated because creditors have recovered close to 100% of their bankruptcy claim value, with more potentially to come. This needs context. Because my Celsius claim was put into the public court record, I’ll use my own case to show the difference between bankruptcy recovery and actual economic recovery. Normally I’d keep this private. I’m deliberately rounding everything and using Bitcoin equivalents rather than precise asset and distribution amounts for security reasons. For context, this wasn’t my entire Bitcoin position. I was testing Celsius as a way to borrow against Bitcoin rather than sell it. At bankruptcy, Celsius converted everybody’s crypto into a dollar claim. My bankruptcy claim was about $15m, based on 2022 bankruptcy-date prices. That’s the number the court measures recovery against. Had Celsius never happened and I simply held the original assets, those same assets would be worth roughly $55m today. The assets I’ve actually recovered are worth roughly $25.5m today. At the official bankruptcy BTC price of ~$19,881, that represented about 790 BTC-equivalent. Rather than publishing exact crypto distributions, I’ll give the current economic value: ~$25.5m That includes crypto distributions plus my Ionic Digital shares at current market value. Here’s an important detail. $IOND was distributed at a Plan valuation of $20/share. It’s now trading around $83. Ionic Digital began as the Bitcoin miner created through the Celsius restructuring and subsequently pivoted toward AI/HPC infrastructure. So a significant part of my recovery comes from IOND appreciating more than 4x, not Celsius returning additional assets. Even giving the recovery full credit for that appreciation: Economic recovery: ~46.5% of what I’d have if Celsius never happened. Yet bankruptcy accounting can simultaneously say I’ve recovered roughly 87% of my dollarized bankruptcy claim. Both can technically be true. That’s the distinction Celsius creditors need to understand. Our Bitcoin was converted into dollar claims using bankruptcy-date prices. Bitcoin and ETH subsequently went up. IOND went up significantly too. Recovering 100 cents on your bankruptcy dollar does NOT mean recovering 100% of the assets you lost. In my case: Bankruptcy accounting: ~87% recovered Economic reality vs HODLing: ~46.5% recovered And that 46.5% already gives full credit to IOND at today’s much higher valuation. There are still recoveries to come. The estate has hundreds of millions in net assets/recovery proceeds, plus unresolved litigation and illiquid assets. I estimate I could receive another $1m-$2m, depending on litigation outcomes and costs. So yes, Celsius creditors could ultimately approach 100% of their bankruptcy claim. That still doesn’t make creditors economically whole. Another ~$2m would put my recovery around ~$27.5m versus ~$55m had Celsius never happened. Approximately half. This matters because Mashinsky is using creditor recoveries to argue that the economic loss underlying his sentence was overstated. Separately, he’s pursuing claims worth billions against the FTX estate. Those are two different legal tracks. If you’re a Celsius creditor, you can calculate your own economic recovery: A. Value today the assets you had at bankruptcy. B. Value today everything you’ve actually recovered, including crypto, $IOND and cash. C. Keep estimated future distributions separate. D. Divide B by A. That’s your approximate economic recovery. Compare it with the percentage of your bankruptcy dollar claim the court says you’ve recovered. They’re very different numbers. The bankruptcy process may eventually tell us we recovered close to 100%. That doesn’t mean creditors were made whole My numbers demonstrate the difference

Just had the creepiest scam ever happen 20 minutes ago. I got a call from my wife telling me she forgot her wallet and needed the credit card to pay for her gas. Except my wife was at home with me, and drives a Tesla. Same voice, bit... off, weird cadence but 100% sounded just like her. If she wasn't there, and it wasn't about gas I would have fallen for it. I entertained it for awhile to get more out of it, I was so confused. Must be some sort of voice deepfake. The responses were too fast for ai, I think it was a voice filter. I wish I had thought to record it. The future is about to get fucked. Warn your loved ones, do verbal passwords with your kids. Bit taken aback

🚨 Important Advice 🚨 🚔 If you hold crypto and you are not a cybersecurity professional, I strongly suggest you avoid using any physical crypto or DeFi wallet, or any DeFi service. Park/Move your crypto to public crypto companies like Coinbase, where you have full financial transparency and a legal liability agaisnt them. In case you're living under a rock, what AI is doing to cybersecurity is nothing short of apocalyptic. Everything has been getting hacked or serious exploits have been uncovered daily everywhere. Companies and professionals for a long time saw cybersecurity as an afterthought. Until most codebases and software development practices are reformed, it is not safe to be dealing with crypto if you are not a seasoned software developer. Trezo official email appears to have been breached 👇! Many crypto companies use the cheapest customer support available, these are disasters waiting to happen..

🚀 $IOND reached a new all-time high of $81.45 today at market open! Yet there is still no news regarding new HPC deals or updates related to batch zero. This recent pump could be driven by people trading on insider information such as incoming HPC revenues, batch zero, or site acquisitions, but I tend to be slightly more inclined to view it as speculation. My recommendation is still to hold 70% of your #IonicDigital stock. If the stock hits $85 to $86, I recommend selling another 5% to 10%. If Ionic reports nothing positive about batch zero, this can be interpreted as bad news in my opinion, this will restrain their ability to sign new hpc deals leaving only midland or purchasing new sites to drive increase revenues, as I wrote in my latest article.

🚨 Texas Approves 400+ Miles of New Transmission Lines for Permian Basin 🚨 ⚡ Unanimous PUCT approval — despite Texas Senate calls to delay, commissioners approved two 765kV transmission lines spanning at least 30 counties from Bosque County ⚡ First Permian Basin Reliability Plan approval — the initial proposals under the 2023 law to clear regulatory review, after a year of landowner opposition and legislative scrutiny ⚡ 2+ year interconnection wait times — Diamondback Energy cited as an example, currently self-generating 80 MW on top of 330 MW from the grid due to the backlog ⚡ AG Paxton filed against it — an amicus brief arguing the law never explicitly mandated 765kV lines specifically, urging the Legislature get input before such large-scale construction proceeds ⚡ Howard Solstice line tabled — a separate South Texas transmission proposal held for further deliberation, not yet decided
$IREN NEWS UPDATE 🔥🔥🔥 Texas has approved its first 765 kV lines … 400+ miles across 30+ counties to fix the West Texas power deficit. IREN’s 2 GW Sweetwater campus sits in that corridor and is already energized. That’s more transfer capacity, less grid-bottleneck risk, and a clearer path to scale a site that’s already live. Highest-voltage lines in Texas history, pointed at the exact region IREN is building. Energised campus + new backbone = the setup. $IREN 🚀🚀🚀 Coverage:

#CelsiusNetwork Admin Report Q2 '26 The quarterly report of the skeleton crew at Celsius that is still doing customer support and distributions was just released. It shows 99.5% of the value of the initial distributions (1st-3rd) has been transferred to creditors, with the 4th distribution now at 95.3% completed. The estate is consuming $4.26M per 3 months and has the budget for roughly 2 years of these expenses. The estate in total, minus the $32.7M budget, has exactly $300M of net assets, or around 4% recovery that could be paid to creditors if the estate closed shop today. This should not be the case yet, as the estate is still going after those who withdrew assets and did not settle, and should still receive payments from Equities First for a couple of years totaling $404M (the estate could potentially also sell these receivables for a discounted lump sum, if the agreement with EFH has such a provision). I still expect no news for a 5th distribution this year and will likely only happen Q1 next year of around 2-3%! Source: cases.stretto.com/public/x19…
