Dems are still favored to win the House when *this* is the electorate, btw.
Dems are also still favored to win two of the seats on the current Virginia map.
This fall, pissed-off voters will give Dems the House.
Then in 2028, we *really* make the GOP suffer with redistricting.

Closing message in Michigan is just full send racism. It is so sad that we have, as a society, allowed ourselves to grow numb to this stuff coming from the people who rule us.
Beamer on El-Sayed: He has a birth certificate but he's not an American. He had the choice to be an American or not. He has chosen otherwise. He has blood that's red. However, he has chosen to remove any strain of the white and blue part in his blood. We cannot allow this man to invade and, occupy our country.
(He is an American)

46% of Republicans chose “patriotism.”
Only 9% chose “service.”
Whereas 16% of Democrats chose “service,” while only 6% chose “patriotism.”
Republicans believe in performative patriotism, but don’t actually believe in service to anything bigger than oneself.
Democrats believe in service to country, even while acknowledging said country’s imperfections.
To put it bluntly, Democrats are the party of Vietnam veterans Al Gore and John Kerry, while Republicans are the party of draft dodgers Bush, Cheney, and Trump, who all said, “*someone* should be over there fighting in Vietnam, *but not me*!”
New Gallup poll asks "which values the country most needs today?"
Out of a list of 12 values, Republicans put "patriotism" #1, for Dems it ranks dead last - by a lot.
Dems say "equality" is most needed, Republicans rank it 11th out of 12.

Republicans ranking patriotism so high, but service so low is a huge tell

Fundamentally, the Michigan Senate race comes down to this.
Abdul El-Sayed: I’m gonna say mean things about Israel and vote against it in the Senate, but I will protect Jewish Michiganders.
Mike Rogers: MUSLIMS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HOLD OFFICE. TRUMP’S ASSHOLE IS DELICIOUS.

If I were a conflicted liberal Jew in Michigan, the racist rhetoric from the Rogers campaign and Trump would be pushing me toward El Sayed, not away.

An old friend of mine from childhood posted this on his Facebook. He's a Republican, but a sensible one in a small town in east Texas saying this publicly to thousands of friends.
This is more devastating than any polls. James Talarico will be your next senator from Texas.

fun fact: The Republican party of Indiana is the only state party in the nation, R or D, to not use it’s traditional national colors (red in this case).

Immediately after the primary, there was a non-zero chance I would’ve been willing to vote for Rogers, given some of my strong disagreements w/ AES. It took <1 week for those chances to go to zero, as I got quickly reminded why I don’t vote for the GOP.

Leftists think, at the same time, both:
A) Barack Obama is a genocidal war criminal
B) WHY ISN'T HE CAMPAIGNING FOR MY FAVORITE SOCIALIST WITH NO CHANCE OF WINNING!?!??!!?
