My 127th week on #ClimateStrike 🌍 If this was a movie, leaders would turn into heroes and try to save us while there is still hope. We now need them to act like movie leaders. We need them to #FaceTheClimateEmergency & #UprootTheSystem 🚨 #schoolstrike4climate #FridaysForFuture – at İstanbul, Türkiye

I just added my name to this emergency appeal for climate action by Greta, Vanessa, Mitzi, and Dominika. Sign now and share, and they'll deliver our voices directly to governments at the @COP26 #climate summit. fb.avaaz.org/campaign/en/cli… – at İstanbul, Türkiye

Yesterday @vanessa_vash and I met with media leaders and chief editors in London. Here is our open letter to global media:

Hello everybody :)
I just wanted to tell you that I'm doing fine. Nothing to worry about, I'm just on a break from climate activism. This is not a rushed decision. I've been feeling depressed and exhausted and anxious for quite a while now, or burnt-out as they call it. + – at İstanbul, Türkiye
Though I may be away for some time, my heart will always be with @GretaThunberg, all the other amazing climate activists across the world, and my friends here at @FridaysTurkey. Together we'll move our planet towards a carbon free future. + – at İstanbul, Türkiye
So happy to be included in this amazing book. Thank you dear @ElmGrace for all your efforts. Thanks to @PressIndigoThe, too. – at İstanbul, Türkiye
Today we are so proud to publish #TomorrowIsTooLate, a youth activist manifesto for climate justice.
@ElmGrace collects essays of activism and hope from young climate strikers across the globe, from Brazil and Burundi to Pakistan and Palestine.

Powerful message to our leaders from @vanessa_vash"How long shall the land mourn, the farms lay in ruins…the animals perish? Are we to watch them die of thirst in the droughts and gasp for air in the floods?
Time for our leaders to Wake Up!!

“I think naivety and childishness are sometimes a good thing.” The great thing about youth, she says, is you’re not blinded by realpolitik and the assumption of compromise. “I do think older people make things more complicated than they actually are.”

Doğamızı, dünyamızı ve insanlığı yok oluşa sürükleyen bu tüketime dayalı sistem değişmedikçe hiçbirimizin geleceği yok.
Değişim, dönüşüm şart.
Bunun için sivil itaatsizlik eylemleri kitleselleşmeli.
Ya hep beraber ya hiçbirimiz.
