Big news out of neighboring Geauga County. The board has scheduled an emergency meeting for Monday, June 6 to discuss their options.

Nobody seems to know where Grendell is. Under terms of the League of Women Voters’ rules, they cannot have what’s called an “open seat” forum. That means if Grendell doesn’t show, incumbent Chuck Walder will not be able to participate beyond his initial 3-minute introduction.
Interestingly enough, Geauga County Auditor candidate Diane Grendell is thus far a no-show. Organizers seem to be surprised.
We’re live at tonight’s Candidate’s Forum at the Bainbridge branch of @GeaugaLibrary sponsored by the League of Women Voters Geauga. Should be an interesting evening.
