I should have been a specialized doctor, just so I could run the worst business imaginable and still roll around on huge stacks of cash. For weeks, my doctor’s office has refused to answers the phone or respond to voice mail. I had to set up an appointment in person today.

Ramin Djawadi’s soundtrack for episode 9 of House of the Dragon is just another level.

The Gameopolis play area has been set up again. We are around six weeks out from the nine new tables arriving.

I’m very excited / proud of what we are doing with Gameopolis. :)

Day two of setting up Gameopolis is in the books!! I’m pleased with the progress that we have made so far!!

Progress!

The chaos before we create order.

The floors are done! The fumes were too strong to start set up today. I’m very pleased with how the backlit logo turned out.

They just started putting the third layer of clear coat onto the hardwood floor! We had hoped to start set up first thing in the morning, but it looks like we will get going tomorrow afternoon. :)

I, a fool, believed the assurances from the person giving the bid to refinish our floor that it would be done in three days and scheduled workers to come from three hours away for an installation on the fourth day. We are now “probably” going to be done on day three.

Progress!! The floor was sanded multiple times and then filler was left on it over night. It will get sanded again and then a clear coat put on today and then two more tomorrow.

It begins!!

It’s been a really, really long time since I’ve watched a movie as bad as “Moonfall”.

It is not The beginning of the renovation process, but it is A beginning for our renovation.
