Oxford Street has always evolved. Now it's time to evolve again.
This transformation is about securing the future of our nation’s high street as one of the world's leading destinations for shopping, culture and entertainment.
Here's why it matters.

Happy 102nd Birthday to the incredible Dorothea Barron!🇬🇧❤️
A true WW2inspiration, Dorothea joined the WRNS at just 18, even putting cardboard in her shoes to meet the height requirement!
“I put my hair up and stood up very tall, as tall as I could.”
She went on to teach semaphore signalling to troops ahead of D-Day.
What a remarkable lady! Thank you for your service, Dorothea.

As Khan presses ahead with the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street that that none of the local residents want, cyclists act as if nothing has changed telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…
🚨🇧🇷 JUST IN: Just after Lula took the election, Alexandre de Moraes is already going after the guy who lost. He ordered Flávio Bolsonaro to hand over his passports and banned him from leaving Brazil. That's how dictatorships treat the opposition. Impeach Moraes. NOW!

In town after town after town English cabbies have been entirely replaced by Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi men who are incapable of speaking English.
Yet another example of how our society has been entirely transformed by immigration.
I am sick of it.

Someone should just set up a camera on pedestrianised Oxford Street and record everything that happens (while being careful not to be robbed). You will go viral and make money.

LORD KHAN has some front gaslighting over pedestrianising OXFORD STREET. Meanwhile almost every tube sevice in London this morning is subject to severe delays. Get your priorities right and stop passing the buck on to Tfl. You are the Mayor. Your job is to deliver London Transport!

I have never seen such a liar like Burnham.
COWARDS: CORNER
Andy Burnham in Retreat over EU Freedom of Movement.
No 10 insists Prime Minister was never proposing a return to bloc despite earlier asking for ‘evidence-based debate’ on the issue.
More Reverse Gears than a World War 2 Italian Tank
Well that didn't take him too long did it??
If any Forensic Accountants fancy a crack at Burnham's Dealings with Reneker, the Manchester Property Developers, who the Mayor, Burnham, invested £Hundreds of Millions in, please feel free.
It wouldn't take too much work to put the Jigsaw Pieces Together...

So sad to hear about the loss of Walter Koenig. Such a nice guy and when we were on the convention circuit together a pleasure to hang out with. Here he is with Celeste Yarnall in “The Apple”, one of my favorites of the oddball episodes. Farewell.
Oh
🚨 CHINA'S AI BUBBLE HAS BURST, WIPING OUT ¥3.2 TRILLION IN JUST FOUR MONTHS.
According to Reuters, China's AI-heavy STAR50 index has crashed 40% since July.
And individual stocks have suffered even bigger losses.
• Unitree Robotics: -50%
• Moore Threads and MetaX: Nearly -50%
• Major optical component makers: Around -60%
But the crash could get much worse.
Even after these massive losses, the STAR50 still trades at nearly 100 times earnings, compared with just 30 times for the Nasdaq 100.
AI stocks also account for 42% of China's stock market value and 57% of trading activity.
Meanwhile, Wall Street is facing similar concerns about massive AI spending and expensive valuations.
China's AI-heavy index is already down 40%, while the Nasdaq has fallen only 6% from its recent peak.
If the AI selloff spreads to Wall Street, hundreds of billions more could be at risk.

Great truth here
♦️WHITE PRIVILEGE♦️
This is how our cotton mills and wool mills made their profits, which afforded them their fine stone-built mansions on the outskirts of mill towns.
It was dangerous work, fingers were often lost, eye injuries common, no comfort breaks, no health insurance and no factory nurse.
This work was done on empty bellies after a walk to work. Malnutrition was common place and discipline hard. A water barrel with a wooden ladle for dry dusty days as cotton dander filled the choking air.
There were no holidays to look forward to, no sick pay, and kids as young as 7 sent to work in the miserable conditions their parents stomached for a lifetime.
They didn't play much, they were too knackered for that. A cold hard bed was all they could hope for. Arthritis and joint pains kicked in early as crippled fingers in their middle years struggled with looms.
And our MPs talk about reparations for slavery, when every God damned nation was using slaves.
White privilege... you disgust me. There should be a plaque of remembrance dedicated to the entire working class!

Disgraceful
I got arrested after being attacked by Pakistani goons who, backed by @MayorofLondon, turned London into shitistan.
Sadiq Khan has to resign.
Of course it is, Khan did it. He is very good in delivering horrors.
'I visited the new Oxford Street – it’s a far cry from Sadiq Khan’s pedestrian ‘paradise’'
