The €162 million 2027 promotion budget will also boost 🇪🇺 agri-food at home & abroad

2027 marks the halfway point of our mandate. Our priority is clear: deliver on what we have promised, simplify & focus on what matters. We should not legislate more, but better🔀with fewer, more targeted initiatives that make a real difference to Europeans

Preparing now is essential to protect our food security and rural livelihoods.

Today’s meeting with Baltic & Finnish farm organisations reinforced that we cannot leave our EU Eastern border behind. I’ll return to Finland in Feb 2027, on its Russian border
