Spain votes on Nov 29. Russia is already inside the conversation. An 11-week OSINT investigation collected 54,737 posts across X, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, mapped 10,773 accounts and 3,284 network links. The headline isn't "disinformation." It's recruitment. A Spaniard in Moscow is openly hiring his own countrymen as informants, hackers and soldiers. In Spanish. During the campaign. Around him, a ring of pro-Russian channels with ~500K subscriptions feeds ready-made narratives to ordinary Spaniards, deciding how every crisis gets explained before the facts arrive. This is a national security problem dressed up as a media problem. Full report:
We began investigating influence on Spain’s 29N election. We uncovered threats extending into national security. From Russian recruitment of Spaniards to Vietnamese page farms; from Latin America to Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Different weapons, different vulnerabilities, from cyber infrastructure to the human mind. Where vulnerabilities exist, exploitation should come as no surprise. goldenowl.ai/resources/resea…

According to FT sources, Putin is threatening to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure by next year: bridges, ports, railways, and power plants. In this way, the Kremlin is raising the stakes ahead of upcoming negotiations. By threatening total destruction, Putin is trying to force Ukraine and the West to negotiate from a position of weakness and agree to terms of capitulation. Russia continues its campaign of terror against Ukrainian cities and the destruction of logistics infrastructure to make life in Ukraine's major cities unbearable. Russia hopes to trigger a new wave of refugees, drain the state budget through emergency repairs, and undermine morale. The threats to completely destroy Ukraine's infrastructure are also a signal to European leaders. Putin is demonstrating that the cost of supporting Ukraine will continue to rise, seeking to divide the Western coalition and force it to put pressure on Kyiv. This is also an attempt to conceal Russia's own problems. Despite the threats, Russia's territorial advances on the battlefield have nearly stalled in 2026, while Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries and logistics hubs are inflicting serious economic losses on Moscow. The threats are an attempt to regain the initiative. Putin's threats indicate that he has no military solution on the frontline and is trying to win the war by destroying Ukraine's rear. Responding with panic or concessions would mean playing into his strategy. The only effective response remains to increase the cost of the war for Russia itself.

Marine Le Pen has rejected President Zelensky’s invitation to visit Ukraine, stating that her “presidential campaign schedule is preventing her from travelling”. In 2017, Marine Le Pen travelled to Moscow less than four weeks before the first round of the presidential election.

⚡️ Trump admits he met Putin's envoy Dmitriev — and announces a massive "beautiful" deal It will affect not only Ukraine but all of Europe. And according to Trump, everyone will be thrilled. Yesterday, Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev arrived at the White House for a reception hosted by Melania Trump. It turns out he later met her husband, the US president, too. “It’s going to be a big agreement, and it’s going to involve more than Ukraine,” Trump told reporters. “I could even say it might involve all of Europe. It’s going to be a big, beautiful agreement. Everyone's going to be thrilled.”

So, let me flag a few things, traitor. 1. "European security architecture" is a phrase the Kremlin uses. We already have one: it's called NATO. 2. You conflate (as you always do) the victim of this war with the aggressor. The aggressor is Russia. 3. "Root causes" is Russian for "do it our way" and you know it. 4. Nothing a word about Russian withdrawal, the occupied territories, POWs or deported children. Weird. 5. Lavrov wrote this for you. 6. Fuck Putin, fuck Russia, and fuck you.
President Trump today advanced an important discussion with several European leaders about the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace. Building on his leadership and the substantive work undertaken this week in Brussels with Ukraine, NATO, and our European partners, @SEPeaceMissions and I wanted to share some of the objectives guiding our ongoing discussions. For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework. Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace. Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment. We are exploring five principal goals: permanent security consultations, reliable crisis communications, greater military transparency, reciprocal measures to reduce escalation risks, and an enduring framework for long-term European security and stability. Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation. Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices. NATO will remain central to European collective defense, and this initiative would build upon existing institutions and commitments. We will continue consultations through the Shell Bay format with Ukraine, NATO, the EU, and our European partners, expanding engagement to ensure that all relevant perspectives and ideas are considered. We will also engage Russia as part of the peace negotiations. Next week in Abu Dhabi, the United States will convene the first trilateral peace discussions with Ukraine and Russia since February. All parties remain intensely engaged in preparing for substantive and productive negotiations. We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation. These ideas continue to evolve, and we welcome thoughtful input. Creating the right structure will be critical to ending this war and transitioning from conflict toward conditions that make possible a durable peace. This is difficult, detailed work. There are no easy solutions. But the opportunity to help end this devastating war and build a foundation for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Europe for generations to come makes it a challenge well worth undertaking. We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.

Russia gave him a choice — betray Ukraine or die in prison. Volodymyr Mykolayenko, the former mayor of Kherson, refused to serve the occupiers and spent more than three years in russian captivity, where he was beaten with batons and fists and tortured with electric shocks from the very first day. When russia invaded in 2022, Mykolayenko joined the territorial defense forces. A few weeks later, he was abducted, stuffed into a car trunk, and transferred through prisons in Crimea, as well as in the Voronezh and Vladimir regions. The torture did not stop for a single day. For every word spoken in Ukrainian, he was beaten. Prisoners were fed potato peels, watery soup, and a single piece of bread per day. For vitamins, they gathered nettles growing by the fence. In the morning, the guards played Orthodox sermons on the radio; in the evening, they tortured the prisoners. Russian officers offered him money, safety, and any position he wanted in the occupation administration. He refused. They lined him up against a wall and staged a mock execution. “I told them I have two grandsons — they will continue my life,” he recalls. In 2022, Mykolayenko refused early release so that a gravely ill young prisoner could take his place. Later, he accidentally overheard from an investigator that Kherson had been liberated. “That was the day I truly felt free,” he says. On August 24, 2025 — Ukraine’s Independence Day — he was freed during a prisoner exchange. He returned exhausted but unbroken. His mother’s home was destroyed, and his own apartment damaged. “I will return to Kherson — to rebuild it and to defend it again, if necessary.” Source: translated and adopted from Tymofiy Mylovanov

Beyond tragic. Ukrainian delegation is forced to stand by the russian war criminals who represent the terrorist state responsible for kidnapping Ukrainian children, killing civilians, and attempting to genocide the entire nation. I understand that Melania wants to earn brownie points. But you don't do it at the expense of an already suffering victim. Shameful and despicable.

When Putin seized Crimea, both Europe and America were quite openly making calls, holding meetings, and sending signals to the Ukrainians who were in power at the time that there should be no escalation – let's just keep things friendly and leave things as they are for now. And we lost Crimea. After that, we lost part of Donbas. But the shooting in the east continued. There was no peace. People think we were always helped. That is not true. Help started coming after the full-scale invasion, but that was after eight years of Russia occupying our territory. That is a long time to figure things out and understand that Putin has no intention of giving anything back to us. At one point, some Europeans asked me: “Why do you think that if you withdraw from Donbas, he will go further?” And I answered: “Because at the beginning of the war, he wasn't seizing Donbas. He came to the capital. He seized parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Kherson itself, and Kharkiv region.” We have retaken a lot of territory, but he had seized different parts of our country. And now they want us to give them something because they are unable to seize it. We may have a smaller territory, less money, and fewer weapons, but we still have more dignity than many others. We will do everything we can to end this war, but it must end in a way that preserves our dignity. From an interview with ZDF. (2/3)
