This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian oil facility in the Samara region, one of Russia's largest gas processing and petrochemical plants.
The plant produces raw materials for explosives: benzene, phenol, acetone, and synthetic ethyl alcohol. These and other components are used to fill artillery shells, aerial bombs, cluster munitions, and missiles.
A Russian strike against the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. A rescue operation is underway: crews are putting out the fire and searching for people who may have been trapped inside. All services are deployed. Today in Kyiv, a pharmaceutical company and gas stations were also attacked; in Dnipro, a business center; and in other cities and regions, civilian facilities, businesses, and communications infrastructure were targeted as well. Sadly, people have been killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Russia will definitely face a response to this. And every one of Ukraine’s partners must see from this terror, from these strikes, that supporting Ukraine means truly supporting people’s lives – supporting the principle that terror must never be normalized, anywhere. Russia must be held accountable for all of this and face real consequences. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine!
We all understand: sanctions against Russia really matter. This is definitely not the time to lift sanctions, to rescue Russian oligarchs from them, and definitely not the time for Europe to give Russia gifts. Usmanov, Fridman, and other Russian figures like them have not made their moves against the war so far.
This is not the time for Europe to forget what is happening. We need new and stronger sanctions – ones that Russia cannot adapt to, including anti-ballistic sanctions against all Russian ballistic missile production, as well as sanctions that restrict Russian finances. In other words, measures that constrain the war.
Lindsey Graham’s sanctions bill is still a bill, unfortunately, and not a law. It is important that it becomes law. I thank everyone around the world who supports this approach and who knows that strength works.

🚨Jose Mourinho on Julian Alvarez:
🗣️“Let me be honest, this transfer saga is becoming a comedy. You sign a six-year contract, spend three seasons at Atlético and suddenly you want to force your way out because a big club is interested?
If I were Atlético, I wouldn’t even negotiate with him. I would tell his agents: ‘You want to leave? Fine. Find yourself a club in Turkey.’
I would happily send him to a mid-table Turkish club just to make the point. You cannot sign a long-term contract and then behave as if the club has no rights.
Atlético invested heavily in this player and gave him an important role. If another club wants him, they should pay what Atlético demands.
And if they cannot afford it, then stay where you are and respect your contract. Simple.”

When his wounded brothers were left exposed after a Russian drone struck their evacuation vehicle, Vladyslav Polskyi didn’t wait.
The commander of the 475th Regiment “Code 9.2” jumped into his pickup and drove directly into the strike zone.
He reached the wounded soldiers and personally evacuated them to safety.
This is what brotherhood looks like.

Today in Ivano-Frankivsk, I met with participants in the “Will to Live” sports competition. Among them are warriors, veterans, and people with disabilities who did not give up and are recovering and regaining their strength through sports. They are competing in eight sports.
I spoke with the athletes and signed the battle flags of their brigades. Thank you for such a good meeting. I am grateful to everyone who is developing this area of physical and psychological rehabilitation, involving the veteran community in it, and creating conditions in which our defenders can return to an active life.

Evgeniy Khmara:
We will shut down Russia’s war machine — destroying its infrastructure, fleet, logistics, fuel and energy facilities, and enterprises working to wage war against Ukraine.
Our operation in Novorossiysk was unique. The combined strike involved missiles, strike drones, and naval drones. Russia proved powerless against the synchronized use of Ukrainian strike capabilities.
This is the result of joint efforts and growing synergy across the Defense Forces.
I thank our warriors for their precision. I thank Ukrainian weapons manufacturers for solutions that give Ukraine greater ability to strike the enemy deep behind the front lines.
Strengthening deep strikes against Russia is one of our key priorities. Together with @CinC_AFU
Mykhailo Drapatyi, the General Staff, @usf_army, @ServiceSsu, other components of the Defense Forces, and weapons manufacturers, we will continue to increase this pressure.
Today, at a meeting chaired by @ZelenskyyUa, we identified further joint steps. Ukrainian operations will become increasingly difficult to counter. Ukrainian weapons will become more widespread. Our strikes will become more precise. Russia will burn.
We are working to fulfill the President’s task — to force Russia into a just peace.
Glory to Ukraine!
