No strong opinions on this but I do want to point out that, whenever I see someone be concerned or critical over Xqc bringing attention to Splatoon, they are met with the most vile, disgusting replies from far right losers. So yes, I do think people are rightfully concerned.

I understand the sentiment, I really do, but just because EU players get to experience a fraction of the pain LATAM, African, SEA and OCE players have had to endure since the beginning of time doesn't give them the right to ruin an event cathered towards North America.

Maybe I'm a bit too woke but I think EU players pulling up to NA league is valid given our entire region has been eating shit since the dawn of Splatoon and every official tournament we WERE allowed to play in was either worlds or had very unnecessary restrictions

As others have pointed out and given Nintendo's history, this kind of behavior will only discourge them even further from hosting events in Europe again. It's such a counterproductive thing to do for everyone, especially when doing it under alt accounts. Don't "protest" like this
