USATF is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tori Bowie, a three-time Olympic medalist and two-time world champion. Her impact on the sport is immeasurable, and she will be greatly missed.

…let’s stop walking PAST each other & look AT each other, talk TO each other. “How are you doing?” And be ready for a truthful reply. Your humanity might save someone. Sadly, it’s too late for Tori and my heart is broken. We ALL failed her & others leaving like this.

Nick Johnson has deserved to burn for years. Made my first year on @OregonTCElite absolutely awful. All of this is so bad, it’s wild there hasn’t been more about this. I can’t emphasize this enough, fuck this guy. And you too @JohnsonRunning. indystar.com/story/news/inve…

Where’s the National Guard? There was a much more peaceful protest a few months back that had a much more violent reaction. – at Huntington Beach, CA

Kobe was a legend on the court and just getting started in what would have been just as meaningful a second act. To lose Gianna is even more heartbreaking to us as parents. Michelle and I send love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.

Softest DQ I’ve seen in an 800, let alone a WC final. Jostling? Should have been 5 DQ in the race in Glasgow last weekend then. Welcome to any international indoor 800m race. Hope they still give @DrewWindle his medal bonus because it’s deserved. – at Iowa City, IA
