I didn’t watch the opening ceremony, but this isn’t right. It feels like the last supper is being completely misappropriated for the sake of the Olympics.
You could choose so many other iconic scenes that don’t have significant religious meaning like the last supper. Why not a significant scene from past wars or major cultural achievements?

I've discovered doing this work for many years that there is almost always deep pain underneath people’s doubts. That's why wrote my first book on pain. I wanted speak to the root of the issue. Coming this August! #apologetics
#GospelPBS, the latest series from @HenryLouisGates, digs deep into the origin of Black spirituality through sermon and song.
I’m honored to be part of this two-night special that celebrates the power of gospel! GOSPEL premieres Mon, Feb 12 & Tues, Feb 13 at 9/8c on @PBS
If you knew what God knows, you would immediately and wholeheartedly agree with Him about your sin.
God’s no is sometimes better than His yes.
The only way to make sense of life (sometimes) is to see the invisible world as realer than the visible one.
Every great person used of God had to perceive the war there more than they did the one here.
Knowing God may not make your life comfortable, but it will make it supremely meaningful.
There is meaning in the trials and troubles you’ve faced.
My favorite line from Jokic’s post game interview last night, “Now we can go home.”
That’s the feeling of a finished job and a job well done.

Brothers,
There is still time to join us this weekend for the Barnabas Brotherhood Men’s Conference. Register today on Eventbrite.
You don’t have to be drafted to become a champion.
The Miami Heat are demonstrating a major encouragement to you and I.
Ed, you did something special at Wheaton. I’m blessed all the more, Bro, to call you friend.

People have no idea how much intentional work is done in Chicago. This isn’t for a lack of effort.
Replying to @michaelharriot
It doesn’t matter where you live, I can almost GUARANTEE YOU that the effort to stop what white people call “Black on Black crime” outweighs the efforts to stop police brutality.
But we aren’t done yet.

Pastor @CharlieDates told me he understands the fears, but pointed out the young people out last weekend were just a fraction of the kids in "the greatest city in the world."
"That fear has to turn into action. We got to believe.” For @chicagotribune:

Hundreds gathered in the Loop to march in response to last weekend’s downtown unrest.
"Chicago refuses to develop its greatest natural resources — our children," said senior pastor Charlie Dates.
