DC finally delivers its 'Dark Knight' heir. 'Clayface' is a visceral villain origin story that’s hard to watch at times, in the best way.

‘#LaBolaNegra’ hits cinemas today. It’s a five-star gem. It’s likely destined for Oscars glory. But after the past week, it’s an important reminder of the precious short time we have. We can’t spend it filled with regret - don’t wait.

Tom Cruise gives one of the best performances of his career in Iñárritu's '#Digger' — a bonkers, maximalist satire that's as enthralling as it is baffling. Equal parts 'Dr Strangelove' and psychotic break.

'#TheEndOfOakStreet' had the cinema cheering — and I was right there with them. Anne Hathaway is extraordinary, the dinosaurs are nail-biting, and David Robert Mitchell delivers a beast of its own.

OUT TODAY: Furious, chaotic, monolithic and overwhelming — Nolan's '#TheOdyssey' roars with every frame. Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland & an extraordinary ensemble in what may be the film of the decade.

Had a great chat with the cast of 'The Birthday Trip' about the complex, messy relationships at the heart of the film. A really fascinating conversation — watch the full interview on YouTube!

I don't give ★★★★★ lightly. '#TheInvite' is the first time in 8 years I've felt compelled to. Olivia Wilde, Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz & Edward Norton are superb together. Riotous & ruthless. My @SydFilmFest review for @maketheswitchAU… maketheswitch.com.au/article… @VVSFilms_ANZ
Go in knowing as little as possible. '#Backrooms' is the best #horror I've seen in years — dread-laden, singular and impossible to shake. Kane Parsons is @A24's youngest feature director and crafts his own path. My ★★★★½ @maketheswitchAU review… maketheswitch.com.au/article…
What a night. Of Monsters and Men at Sydney's Enmore Theatre — their first Australian show in over six years — and the crowd felt every second of that wait. Photos & review up at @maketheswitchAU now.

Got back behind the camera for the first time in ages — and what a gig to choose. @FrankTurner at Sydney's Roundhouse was something else. Jet-lagged but electric.

Adam Scott is an actor who deserves better than this. '#Hokum' has a genuinely rich premise — Irish folklore, a remote village, a supernatural witch — and squanders almost all of it. A messy, jump-scare-heavy misfire.

Saw ‘#ThePresidentsCake’ and I can’t stop thinking about it. A 9-year-old girl in 1990s Iraq has to bake a birthday cake for Saddam Hussein — and what follows is one of the most moving films I’ve seen in a long time. ★★★★

Did we need 'Ready or Not 2: Here I Come'? Not really.
Did I have fun anyway? Absolutely.
★★★½ – bloodier, sillier, and stacked with a great cast.
