I’ve got my laptop up and running, for the first time in a while. Excited to discover, over in MacBook Pro-world, that Twitter’s still Twitter, not the dead hand of X.
Hurrah!
I'd never witnessed such a committed, all-consuming performance on the cricket field, by fermented apple juice. It was humbling and truly spectacular; an example to us all.
As the sun sets on another brilliant Star CC Tour, all that remains is to pass on huge thanks to two amazing cricket clubs @WoolhopeCC & @BrockhamptonCC & the fantastic people at @CrownWoolhope & @greendragonhfd for their wonderful hospitality. See you again I hope 👏👏👏

I hate doing this, but I am desperate for sales, as currently a few hundred pounds short of being able to cover my bills this month.
Please, if you’ve ever thought about buying from me, now would be a great time. Even if all you can do is retweet this, I’d be so grateful (1/2)
#QOTD 'To be able to see the Bosphorus, even from afar, for İstanbullus this is a matter of spiritual import that may explain why windows looking out onto the sea are like the mihrabs in mosques, the altars in Christian churches and the tevans in synagogues' Istanbul, Orhan Pamuk
#QOTD As I left work, I looked skywards and saw... nothing. I knew the moon to be there, but 'twas obscured by cloud and not a glimmer did show. Undaunted, here's two moon works for you: the Sidney's the #QOTD, the Tom's a treat.

#QOTD by Claire Keegan, from ‘Small Things Like These’. Some will know this. I think it the finest paragraph in a captivating novel. Crows are so intelligent, so mischievous, so single-minded. Ben Jonson names one of the avaricious gulls in Volpone, Corvino; why, I’m not sure.
A trip to the farm shop confirms what others are saying: the hawthorn is frothing with blossom. Cow parsley abundantly bedecked, too; white has shoved aside early Spring’s predominant yellow. Can’t view blossom without recalling this (from 29 years’ ago): youtu.be/3xQiOle0o8k
#QOTD “It was the stillness of an implacable force brooding over an inscrutable intention” (Joseph Conrad, The Heart of Darkness”).
Walking different roads, perhaps, I think Mary and William are fellow travellers.

#QOTD ‘Hello, I must be going’. In truth, this was to be #wotd , until I realised Groucho had spelled Spalding (not Lincs), incorrectly. Still, I don’t need an excuse to share the Marx Brothers: Hooray, for Captain Spaulding! youtu.be/5BMtqqHRvB8

May everyone be seen as the person they are, not the problems they face.
#QuoteOfTheDay. Before Patch Adams was William Osler, Canadian physician, founder of Johns Hopkins hospital
We’ve left ours to flower and self-scatter, as the bees gather the pollen, but this is very interesting, too.
If one must attend the coronation, one may as well make the most of it.
