Democrats hold 18 of the top 20 fundraising spots in the 2026 congressional races.
Republicans hold more than twice the cash in their party committees and super PACs.
Two very different ways to fund a midterm, 11 days out. 🧵

Both Senate campaign committees are now in debt. The DSCC took out a $15M loan in October, and the NRSC is carrying $20M.
The DNC was the only one of the six party committees to gain cash.
House Democrats have signed up 275 staffers to watch vote counts in close races, a record for the party, Rep. Joe Morelle says.
GOP Chairman Bryan Steil calls the House observers program “our eyes and ears on the ground.”

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro wants data centers, not other PPL Electric customers, to pay for the grid costs their demand creates. He’s asking regulators to let him join the case. theepochtimes.com/us/shapiro…
“Pennsylvanians should not be left paying higher electric bills because of data center developers,” Shapiro said.
Republican nominee Stacy Garrity’s campaign: “Pennsylvanians know CYA when they see it.”
Florida’s top two Democrats are chasing the same voters with different arguments: Ex-Republican David Jolly pitches crossover appeal, and Angie Nixon pitches a progressive platform to Republicans and independents.
Nixon told CNN in an interview today about half the crowd at one of her town halls was Republican. “We can absolutely win in Florida,” she said.
Sen. Ashley Moody’s campaign called Nixon’s bid “the most radical, far-left campaign Florida has ever seen.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on a press call with reporters today that Democrats are deploying 100+ Senate staffers as election observers because “Donald Trump has made it clear he wants to undermine our elections.”
The White House responded to Schumer’s remarks from the call in an email to me this afternoon, saying Democrats are keeping Americans from having full confidence in their elections by refusing to vote for the SAVE America Act.
Spokeswoman Lauren Bis said the bill would require voter ID and ensure that only Americans elect the country’s leaders.
“President Trump has done more than any other President to ensure we have free and fair elections.”

EXCLUSIVE: Democrats expected Senate Republicans to follow their election observer program. A spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) confirmed to me today that Senate Republicans are training their own observers and expect to match the Democratic effort.
Minority Ldr. Chuck Schumer (D) and Sen. Alex Padilla (D) told reporters on a press call today that more than 100 Democratic Senate staffers will observe in nine states, such as Ohio, Georgia, and Michigan. Their job, Schumer said, “to observe, to document and report the facts.”
Sen. Padilla said on the call he knew Republicans “have a similar effort on their side of the aisle" but did not have numbers yet.

Democrats in Georgia, Iowa, and Maine ran the same play Tuesday night: blame the Iran War for what voters pay at the pump.
“How is this war a success, Mike?” Sen. Jon Ossoff asked Rep. Mike Collins.
Sen. Susan Collins says she voted nine times to end the war.
“I agree that the president did not have a good plan,” she said.
Her opponent Troy Jackson says Mainers pay 80% more for heating oil than last year.
In Iowa, Josh Turek said Rep. Ashley Hinson voted seven times to keep the war going.
Hinson said Iran can’t get a nuclear weapon and another war powers vote isn’t needed — the president can end it.
