This week hasn’t been easy, but that’s part of the journey. It’s easy to feel motivated when you’re winning; the real strength is showing up when things aren’t going your way.
I accept my losses, learn my lessons, and keep my mind ready for the wins ahead. One rough week doesn’t define me. My consistency through the rough phases does.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO WIN ALL THE TIME TO BE PROFITABLE. 📈🔥
When people ask me how I measure my profitability as a trader, this is what I tell them, and I want you to learn something from it.
I focus more on forward testing, even though I still backtest my system.
Now, imagine taking 10 trades, winning only 4 and losing 6. Does that mean you’re a bad trader? Absolutely not!
If your risk-to-reward ratio is consistently between 1:3 and 1:5, and you maintain a fixed risk, you can still be highly profitable despite losing more trades than you win.
Think about it:
4 wins at 3R = +12R
❌ 6 losses at 1R = -6R
🔥 Net result = +6R
That’s profitability with just a 40% win rate!
Once you understand your edge and have enough data to validate it, you stop being afraid of losses. You understand that losses are part of the business, not a reason to abandon your system.
This is how you build a stronger trading psychology. You stop chasing wins, stop forcing trades, and start trusting your process.
Remember:
• Find your edge.
• Test and document your setups.
• Maintain a fixed risk.
• Let your winners outweigh your losers.
• Stay consistent.
You don’t need to win every trade. You need a system that makes money over a series of trades and the discipline to execute it.
STOP CHASING A HIGH WIN RATE. START BUILDING A PROFITABLE SYSTEM.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! ❤️🎂
2016, I was told I had only three months to live.
2018, I survived a terrible car accident that left doctors surprised.
2019–2020, I battled a severe illness, yet God kept me alive.
Today, I look back and see nothing but grace, mercy, and God’s faithfulness. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m grateful to be alive.
GOD IS WITH US. ❤️
My life is a testimony, and my story isn’t over yet.
Happy birthday to me. To God be all the glory! 🙌🎉
Winning feels good until losing tests your character.
The market tests you on both sides when you’re winning and when you’re losing. One tests your confidence; the other tests your discipline, patience, and consistency.
But a losing phase is not the end of your journey. Every trader faces it. What separates you is how you respond when things stop going your way.
Anyone can feel like a winner when the market is paying. Your real character shows when it isn’t. Stay disciplined. Keep showing up. Your story isn’t over.
It’s been a slow and tough half week but this is exactly where RISK MANAGEMENT proves its worth.
You don’t have to win every trade. You just have to protect your capital enough to stay in the game.
Risk management first. Profit comes second.
Let’s see how this week unfolds.
One thing I’ll never stop thanking God for is the beautiful souls He has placed in my life. Some stories are too personal to tell just yet, but one day, when the time is right, I’ll share mine.
I’ve made money, lost money, and experienced what it feels like to start all over again. And looking back, one thing I regret is how hard I was on myself, even during the moments when I was winning. I was always chasing the next big thing that I forgot to appreciate the little victories right in front of me.
But now, as I’m beginning to see things more clearly and life is getting better one day at a time, I’ve made a promise to myself: I will never make the mistake of overlooking my own progress again.
No matter how small the win looks to the world, I’ll celebrate it. Every lesson, every little breakthrough, every step forward.
Because I’ve learned that life isn’t just about making it big it’s also about appreciating how far you’ve come.
This time, I’m choosing gratitude over pressure, progress over perfection, and self-celebration over self-criticism.
My story isn’t finished yet, but when the time comes, I’ll tell it. And until then, I’ll keep growing, keep believing, and keep celebrating every blessed day of my life.
I always tell my colleagues about the importance of being at the right place at the right time. I might have just caught one of the slickest trades of the week.
I can’t explain how it happens, but I’ve trained my mind to expect opportunities, stay prepared, and position myself to catch them when they come.
Sometimes, it’s not just about finding the opportunity. It’s about becoming the person who’s ready when the opportunity shows up.
I am Chaze🦅
