Yeah I’m gonna play east into the chaseable terrain lol
I am pulling some pretty favorable soundings today from eastern NM. Wonder if we get a few tornadic mini supercells somewhere SSW of Vaughn, NM.
Severe warned supercell west of Zia Pueblo, NM. @NWSAlbuquerque
Weak intermittent rotation.

Chasing in the 4 corners regional without the local ball knowledge of terrain influences is brutal. Always positioning 3 steps behind.
LIVE within the next hour tracking a local corridor of sig supercell potential near Albuquerque, NM.

I shall find out what happens in this corridor for you

More funding is great, but unless more funding is going to hire meteorologists who don’t tornado warn left split hailers instead of right splits with increasing conference and debris balls, the issue isn’t funding the last few days.
The terrain impacts out here are interesting. Every cell that comes off the Mogollon Ridge just implodes. Botched it positioning there for this afternoon.

It’s dying as it moves into low land and a DP depression rip
Tracking supercell moving off the higher terrain towards St. John’s, AZ.

Interesting the tornado should’ve been to the west of us around this time and the phone was pointed south in this frame. Thanks for sharing.
