Jesus 'lost' so that life could win. You'd think they'd take notes.

Let us not be found seeking crowns, for these are things after which men seek. But be found doing the Will of Your Heavenly Father, so that His Glory might be revealed on this earth.

I'm questioning why I'm paying to be on this platform. I'm lucky if I get any views at all. Perhaps it's time to move on.

When I was 11, I needed to walk a mile to and from school. One day, a group of girls who were constantly harrassing me (I was quiet and minded my own business) came behind me and began to mock me. My parents had just bought me a new winter coat with a large fur brim on the hood. I adored that coat and was feeling very happy wearing it. One of the girls came up to me and grabbed the fur of my hood and pulled it until it ripped. The others laughed as they mocked. What they didn't realize was that my mother had decided to run errands that day and decided she would pick me up as she drove the way toward her destination. I remember seeing the car stop in the middle of the snow packed road and my mother running toward the pack of girls. She grabbed the one who had been coming at me by the scruff of her jacket and slammed her against the wall of a nearby building. "Listen you little dog. If you ever come near my daughter again, or if I ever see you near her again, you will regret it." The group looked on in sheer terror. My mother had now picked her up off her feet and I remember her just dangling there in horror and she looked terrorized saying a few other things I don't remember because I was in shock myself. She then barked at me to get in the car, which I swiftly did. I remember my mother as a cross and scary lady, but I knew she had been through things. That said, those girls were afraid to mess with me after that. The bullies are terrified of God in this world too. And they really should be. If you think my mom was something, wait until you get on the wrong side of my Heavenly Father. You don't want to mess with His Kids.
