So far : - According to what Chalaev said, how the regime reacted and the firefights heard earlier, it is certain that there are several insurgents. - The number of 30 mujahiddîn isn’t yet confirmable though. There may be lesser than that, just like there could be more.

Chechnya update: @niyso_eng reports the resistance fighter killed in the shootout on October 19 was Turpal-Ali Mezhidov. Security services were looking for Mezhidov shortly before the fighting began. All other fighters reportedly escaped. New reports of shooting are emerging.

حالة استنفار قصوى تعيشها الأجهزة الأمنية في الشيشان منذ الأمس. اصوات اشتباك حدثت امس واعلان عن قتلى، واغلاق كامل لمناطق مثل غروزني وغوديرميس، كذلك قطع كامل لشبكة الانترنت عن الجمهورية. ال FSB تقود عمليات بحث واسعة منذ الأمس وإلى الآن. الحديث عن بحث عن ٣٠ مجاهد.
