Humanity might one day overcome the limits of aging and death.
AI is accelerating scientific discovery, biotechnology is advancing, and we're learning more about the human body than ever before.
The next century could redefine what it means to be human
Over the past few months, Anthropic scientists have engaged in deep research partnerships with six organizations developing new medicines. We've also begun drug discovery efforts of our own.
In doing so, we’ve learned much more about how Claude can support the many stages of drug development.
In this blog post, we share some early results from these efforts, and describe how this work fits in with our wider ambitions in the life sciences.

It does, if you work hard enough to turn that belief into reality
🚨 Let me explain what just happened because I don't think people understand how funny this is.
AI has made coding accessible to more people, but some vibe coders are still struggling with concepts like idempotency and the dual-write problem.
>Idempotency means repeating the same operation produces the same result as doing it once. Imagine clicking “Pay $5,000” three times because your network is slow. Without proper safeguards, you could be charged three times. A properly designed payment system prevents those duplicate charges.
>The dual-write problem happens when an application needs to update two systems. For example, saving a payment to a database and sending an event to a message queue. If the payment saves successfully but the event fails to send, the two systems are out of sync.
These are the kinds of problems developers have to solve when building reliable software.
AI can generate code for you, but when real users, payments, and data are involved, you need to understand what can go wrong and how to fix it.
There’s something inspiring about people who leave a comfortable job to pursue something they truly believe in. It takes courage to bet on yourself and build something from scratch.
Good luck with your next chapter Wishing you success

Today is my last day at @moniepoint.
I’ve made the decision to dedicate my time fully to building @pewbeam_ai. I believe deeply in what we’re building and its potential to shape the kind of future I want to live in, and I’m excited to give it my undivided attention.
It has been a privilege to contribute to Moniepoint’s mission of providing financial happiness for every African.
As a Product Designer on the Cards team, I had the opportunity to contribute to improving the product’s user experience and design, helping make it more intuitive and useful for the people who rely on it.
I’m grateful to everyone I had the opportunity to work with. I’ve learned a great deal from the people around me, and I know those lessons will serve me well as I enter this next chapter.
Now, it’s time to build 🚀
Be delusional about your profession.
Believe you can become one of the best in your field, even when you have little experience, no connections, and no proof that you'll make it.
Let your belief be bigger than your current reality

I don’t understand what you meant there, but what I’m saying is that every government has its own agenda based on the promises it makes. If it prioritises security, it may recruit more security personnel; if it prioritises healthcare, it may employ more health workers. My point is that government priorities can influence where job opportunities are created

True, And also they should give students a strong foundation and the enabling environment to develop themselves and prepare for real job opportunities.
Getting laid off hits differently when you have bills to pay, people depending on you, and no idea how long it will take to find another job.
That’s why, while you’re still employed, build a side hustle you can fall back on. Don’t wait until you lose your job to start looking for another source of income.

Exactly. The goal is not to find a role AI can never replace, but to build skills that help you adapt as the industry evolves

There are jobs in Nigeria, but the question is whether your course aligns with the sectors this government is investing in and creating opportunities for. When a new government comes in, its priorities may change. And let's be honest, in Nigeria, connections can sometimes matter just as much as your qaulification
