Ilhan Omar has some serious questions to answer.
Ali Hassan Mohamed, Somaliland's former information minister, alleges that on her December 2022 trip to Somalia, Omar leaked details of a meeting between Somaliland's president and the House Foreign Affairs Committee to Somali leaders.
He made the claim back in January 2024.
Now Somaliland's official account is pushing it again.
Omar sat on that committee.
If this is true, it's a HUGE breach of trust….
And it's a serious CRIME.
FBI needs to investigate NOW.

قبل عملية الاسد الصاعد او حرب ال١٢ يوم في يونيو ٢٠٢٥ ، زار وزير الدفاع السعودي الامير خالد بن سلمان ايران والتقى خمائني، كانت زيارة الفرصة الاخيرة قبل الحرب..فشلت الزيارة وتمسكت ايران بمواقفها واندلعت الحرب بعد اسابيع.
زيارة وزير الدفاع السعودي لطهران اليوم ضمن وفد حلف مكة، يمكن فهمها في نفس السياق وربما تحمل نفس الرسائل، محاولة لتجنب الانفجار الكبير في المنطقة وربما تحمل ايضا نفس العرض القديم لدمج ايران في النظام الاقليمي الذي يتشكل في ظل المعارك والفوضى.
جرت في النهر " دماء" كثيرة، وتعقدت الازمة وارتفع سقف الخسارة وكلفة الحرب على الجميع، وتشكلت معادلات جديدة في قلب مفاهيم الحسم العسكري ومفهوم الردع..
ويبقى السؤال ، هل تنجح زيارة الامير فيما فشلت فيه سابقا..ام تتكرر نفس الاستجابة ويتكرر نفس التعاطي الايراني مع نفس العرض، ونشهد الجزء الاخير من الحرب المتوقعة وما تحمله من مخاطر على الجميع..

Here's state rep Ilhan Omar introducing Somali officials to Turkey’s Erdoğan in 2017.
That's what a Somali foreign agent does. She never registered.
Omar told the Tusmo Times that, in her one-hour meeting, she “discussed with Erdogan how to promote the 10 members of the Somali parliament and the Somali parliamentarians.” The Tusmo Times continued, “Omar also discussed with Erdogan how his government would contribute to the development of the fisheries sector in Somalia, investment and trade cooperation between Somalia and Turkey. Omar and Erdogan also discussed strengthening relations between Somalia and Turkey in the United States.”
This is not the first time that Ilhan Omar created animosity between Somalis. She was heavily involved in the conflict that took place in Las-anod. In December 2022, she visited Garowe, where she leaked information to some of the Somali leaders pertaining a meeting between the President of Somaliland and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress, which she was a member by that time. She was very persistent and urged the Somalian leaders
to take proactive actions against Somaliland as soon as possible. A month after this, the Las-anod conflict broke out.
She was certainly one of the main characters who created hatred and division among Somalis.
So it is time for Ilhan to be held accountable for her wrongdoings.
🔴 Somaliland’s government SHOULD immediately cooperate with U.S. federal authorities and seek justice for the continuation of the Isaaq genocide, including the violence in 2022–23 directed and incited by Ilhan which former minister of information has exposed.
Videos and evidence of incitement and funding from Somalians in Minnesota, and support for the Las Anod militias are all over the internet.
The involving Ilhan Omar must be investigated.
