Millennials, what was considered completely NORMAL in 2005 that would be absolutely unhinged today?

Replay assist from an unbiased levelheaded person not on the field should be able to call in and fix flags. If referees want to throw a bunch of flags in a game, it is what it is. Be precautionary on that I don’t care. But the same way replay assist can overrule a catch or fumble, they need to be able to overrule game altering flags that never should’ve been thrown, and egregious missed calls. It’s a better swing of the pendulum than what we are currently left with. Look at the MLB and what they are doing with strikes and balls. Use that framework.

The Packers can beat any team in the NFL and I’m excited to see how they play down the stretch.

The NFL has an officiating problem. This is a pathetic joke.

The thing nobody tells you is that wisdom and gentleness are twins that rarely sleep in the same crib. most people who see the workings of the soul wind up playing them like a puppeteer, they take the hunger and fear and use them to make people dance on strings and call it genius. but it takes a special kind of restraint to see those vulnerabilities and refuse to press down, not because you can't but because you know it would be evil. and meanwhile most of the gentle ones stay gentle because they never even see the openings for cruelty, they didn't notice the wounds that screamed for the knife, they just drifted through the world like smoke without ever knowing how easy they could make it all burn. so it's a rare bird indeed who can spot every weakness in every heart and also choose to protect rather than exploit. maybe one in a million are born with that kind of grace, and most of them dwell far from the rest of us because they can't bear the sight of so much naked need going untended.

Obsession is the only honest relationship with the infinite. Lukewarm souls produce a lukewarm god, and every man who ever moved mountains first had to be possessed by the vision of where those mountains belonged

Final thought on the Packers/Bears game. - Chicago walked into Lambeau for the first time in 20+ years as favorites. - GB came limping into this game. - They had a chance not only to send GB into a spiral, but they could also have ended this regime - A chance to say "We broke GB" and it actually mean something. - Wonder boy coach had been rolling with a backup QB; "Coach of the year", they said! Bagent has been talked about as a top-32 QB by the fans. They had more first downs than NY had offensive plays. Devin Bush wasn't even sore, yada yada. - Luther Burden wanted to beat them so bad that they would QUIT. They "Knew" what next week was. They were up for this game. - They had everything lined up for the kill shot, better than any opportunity they have had in the last 30 years, and they BLEW IT. - Not only did they miss their opportunity to put GB away, but they also gave this GB team new life. Thanks.

Matt LaFleur said on the second bomb TD to Watson on third and 22, he was still pissed off about the Sturdivant OPI the play before. On that TD to Watson: “It was just a rage call.”

Philosophy shift for the Packers I believe is under way. Strive for efficiency ❌👉 back burner If they lose, they need to lose bc they “missed the shots” instead of didn’t “take the shots”. That’s who this team is imo. Live and Die by Jordan Love’s deep shots.

Jordan Love on the OPI call on J. Michael Sturdivant, and then coming back to hit Christian Watson for the 53-yard touchdown catch: "Ball don't lie."

Christian Watson has 25-plus catches, six-plus TD receptions and an average of 18.0-plus yards per catch in the first five games of 2026. He is the first NFL player to hit those marks in the first five games of a season since Jerry Rice in 1986. #GoPackGo
