At 24, Frank Brigtsen moved back home with his mother and decided it was time to change his situation.
After multiple interviews with Chef Paul Prudhomme at Commander’s Palace, Frank was offered a choice: take the higher-paying broiler cook position, or start at the bottom as an apprentice in the pantry.
He chose the pantry.
That decision changed the course of his life and launched a 53-year culinary career.
