The man who loved Princess Diana most refused ten million pounds for her letters — and still refuses to talk.

He has turned down every approach.
Diana's closest friends have consistently described the relationship with Khan as the one in which she was most genuinely herself: not the princess performing warmth for cameras, not the wounded woman performing strength for the press, but simply a woman in love, in a flat in Battersea, cooking Pakistani food she had learned to make for him, watching television and wanting nothing else.
