this community can be so cruel
M2K has autism, and as much as you want to say “it’s no excuse”, no one is perfect and new circumstances can happen which can be things to learn from. This is one of those cases and he has learned from it.
He has no family that wants to take care of him
He relies on the few friends he has to be able to live anywhere
and often those living conditions aren’t ideal
He was told he shouldn’t go to the event, and he listened and agreed.
please have some grace and don’t bully another member of the community into further mental decline

He made a mistake / failed by the people around him and everyone’s first instinct is to dehumanize and clown on him
He’s obviously struggling and I’d think the proper response wouldn’t involve deteriorating his mental health

Lot of people in the generation just can’t tell the difference between being firm and holding people accountable… and then just being unnecessarily cruel

But for a community that preaches mental health support and kindness, the response to someone obviously struggling is kinda disgusting
Like absolutely terrible call on his part to go to tournaments despite the bug issue
But dogpiling on someone who is apparently being financially swindled and apparently not in a good place mentally for years… idk, rubs me the wrong way totally
