Now this is a sound decision by the CDC! A study of over 35,000 pregnant women who received Pfizer or Moderna vaccines found no concerning safety issues for mom or baby. Pregnant women are at higher risk for hospitalization & death from #covid19, and should receive the vaccine.

Joining @Christi_Paul @Boris_Sanchez @NewDay soon: Lifting the pause on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was the right call, but there should have been a much more explicit warning for women under 50 to choose a different #covid19 #vaccine. This is about informed decision-making.

Some look at this from @CDCgov and say, the risk of this serious blood clotting disorder (TTS) is very low compared to huge benefit of the J&J vaccine. True. But in the women 18-49 group, there are 13 cases of TTS to prevent 12 covid deaths. Pfizer & Moderna don’t have this risk.

As the nation continues to be polarized, we have all lost something through #COVID19. We must find a way to build on the commonality and come together to end this pandemic.
😷 + 💉 = ending pandemic = economic recovery & fewer unnecessary deaths.

Around 22% of Houstonians have COVID-19 antibodies, a new study says.
The antibody data confirmed what researchers knew about COVID-19 in adults. They were surprised by what they discovered in children.

Sounds like Biden got a readout on this @FrankLuntz exercise:"I discussed it with my team, and they say the thing that has more impact than anything Trump would say to the MAGA folks is what the local doctor, what the local preacher, what the local people in the communities say."
Replying to @FrankLuntz
Finally, I asked participants if their minds had been changed at all by what they’d just heard – and all of them said they were now more likely to get the COVID vaccine.
