Another great night from that period. So many bonkers away trips during just in that League Cup run alone.
On this day in 1984 we took a coach from Memphis Belle in Kilburn High Road up to Fellows Park for @ChelseaFC League Cup 3rd round tie at Walsall. Six minutes from exit when Colin Lee equaliser got Blues a replay in 2-2 draw @cfc_heritage
State of these weird, weird whoppers.
Will Liverpool fans ever FORGIVE Jordan Henderson after his move to Chelsea?! 🧐🔥

If - and by if I mean when - Fofana makes his next huge blunder in a game at the Bridge, he’s getting both barrels from the fans, isn’t he? Not much to like about him away from the pitch, and seemingly incapable of making up for that on it.
One positive tonight was Penders’ response to Saturday’s own-goal. Looked confident and played well.

"I don't see that as a bad thing. I think that's something more clubs should have."

I see @kaihavertz29 had another one of those nights. What a bloke 😂
They’re playing Jump Around at half-time in Worthing. Where’s the self-awareness, lads? If anyone from Worthing jumps around, they’re bedridden for a fortnight.
Myself included.
It’s important to get these facts right, so in years to come our grandchildren and great grandchildren will be able to say “Did you know, Spurs have only won at Chelsea 4 times in 76 years/8 times in 152 years.”
Can we please get something straight: Yesterday was Spurs’ 2nd win at the Bridge in 36 (THIRTY SIX) years (& 8 months). From 11th Feb 1990 until today, they’ve beaten us just twice in league and cup games. I’m seeing some weird stuff like 3rd win in 36 years or 2nd since 1993.
Finally some more football to help take our minds off last night. I’ve opted for United/Bournemouth just ahead of Liverpool/Brighton, which guarantees a goalfest at Anfield and a bore draw at OT.
Can’t pretend that doesn’t hurt. But just like their first win in 36 years at the Bridge, they also deserved their second.
