I think it’s annoying that reataurants dont help put with this either. Kids menu is always chicken nuggets, burgers, pizza etc lmao.
Your kid isn't a picky eater. Your kid is a marketed eater.
Jamie Oliver nails it here. In Tuscany, 4-year-olds tear apart charcoal-grilled pigeon on polenta with artichokes. In America and England, grown men won't touch a vegetable.
Nobody is born genetically wired for beige food. Familiarity is manufactured.
The part that should make every parent angry: he says his campaign proved London's bus-stop ads targeted kids on the school run. Sweets and junk food while they waited. Cars and holidays within 10 minutes of them boarding.
That's not advertising. That's hunting.
The good news: if taste can be trained toward nuggets, it can be trained back.

I think people underestimate how tired you can be from just having too much on your mind! Not even physically tired! Just tired of remembering things, handling things, thinking ahead, fixing stuff, making decisions, being needed, tryna stay afloat etc.
