🤩COVER REVEAL🤩 I’m completely in love with the cover of my middle grade novel, ONE WRONG TURN - coming July. Thank you to my amazing team at @fremantlepress & to the very talented Irene King for bringing my ballerinas to life. This little author cannot stop happy dancing 💃🏻

In Year 1, I won a school speech competition with a talk about our upcoming trip to Singapore. It included an impersonation of the orangutan I would be having breakfast with at the zoo. Almost 30yrs later, it was exciting to be back, this time presenting as a published author 🥰

Very excited for this one! 👇🏻

Bluey has a lot to answer for. Mr 3 now has a “magic leaf” that has the ability to make objects too heavy to lift. He now keeps pointing the leaf at me and yelling ‘heavy!’ Given I’m currently a million years pregnant, it’s not great for the self esteem…

If the Book Week costume parade fills you with dread…this might help! Any dance attire works, any colour. Adjust the footwear to suit the parade location. No glue gun required 😉

‘A wonderful exploration of how friendship can thrive, even in a highly competitive environment.’ Thank you so much to StoryLinks Children’s Book Review for their wonderful review of Breaking Pointe. storylinks.booklinks.org.au/…

‘Her characters are strong young women who realise they need to both cooperate and compete, in order to achieve their dreams.’ Thank you Margaret Crohn for the most incredible review of Breaking Pointe on ReadPlus. Full review: readplus.com.au/reviews/brea…

My 3.5yr old has been telling me all about a kid called ‘Galato’ that he likes to play with at prekindy. I questioned the name a few times, but he was adamant it was Galato. Today I asked him to point Galato out so I knew who he was. Michael. The kid’s name is Michael 🤦🏽‍♀️

Listening to music in the car and Mr 3 asked if ‘The Elephants’ were the biggest band ever. We had no idea what band he was talking about until he said “well there’s the Beatles and Beatles are very small. And Elephants are big” Toddler minds…

$62 to buy the ingredients for a family sized shepherds pie 😓 It’s a sad day when takeaway would’ve been the cheaper option!
