Here is something you would definitely want to know before moving a staked @0xhazels NFT.
Soft staking keeps the NFT in your wallet, but that does not mean the staking record follows the NFT automatically.
If you sell or transfer a staked Hazel, that stake closes and its sYOURAI record resets.
And if you are simply moving the NFT to another wallet, order matters.
Hazels says you should first link the destination wallet to the same account, then transfer the NFT.
Doing it the other way around can close the stake and restart your participation record from zero.
I like this because soft staking is not pretending an NFT is locked when it is not.
You keep custody and freedom to move the asset.
But if the ownership state changes, the system notices and the staking record changes with it.
Hazels even uses multiple ownership checks so a missed chain notification does not become a permanent mistake.
That is the kind of infrastructure people rarely talk about when discussing NFT utility.
The exciting part is access.
The important part is making sure the access actually follows the truth onchain.
Would you rather keep full custody with rules like this, or lock the NFT in a staking contract until you are ready to unstake?

One thing I just learned about @0xhazels staking changed how I understood the system.
You do not send your NFT away to stake it.
Hazels uses soft staking.
Your NFT stays in your wallet, and you prove ownership by signing a message. No staking transaction and no custody transfer.
Once the stake is active, it can unlock staker access and apply the relevant multiplier to eligible campaigns.
There is also something called sYOURAI.
Unlike access, which begins immediately, sYOURAI only starts counting after a full 24 hours of staking. If you unstake, sell, or transfer the NFT, that staking record stops and its points reset.
I like this approach because ownership remains visibly yours while participation is still measurable.
It also makes staking feel less like “lock your asset somewhere and wait for yield” and more like proving that you are an active member of the ecosystem.
And that distinction fits Hazels quite well.
Ownership gets you through the door.
Participation is what you do once you are inside.
