Genuinely considering cancelling my animate order of the pashakore and getting it with movic while the orders are still up...at least I can buy stuff normally there....

Miyano isn't sure when the sound of the fireworks stop. He heard them clearly at first, but somehow lost track of them when his focus shifts to the soft sighs Sasaki makes into their kisses. They're the last fireworks they will see together on the schoolgrounds where they first met, but the soft sting of melancholy only lasts for a second, is pushed back by the gentle warmth of the hands on his back that pull him closer. It's not like the feeling is gone entirely, it's just that there are other things he is focused on right now. Like the way Sasaki's lips keep catching his over and over again. Just a few weeks ago, when they were in a similar position as Sasaki pointed out, when the small kiss Miyano stole to satisfy the longing in his chest went a bit further than he expected, Miyano needed to ask to catch his breath, for Sasaki to slow down. But he doesn't need to now, has ample time to pull in the precious oxygen before his lungs start burning. Maybe it's because he could finally tell Sasaki the selfish feelings he carried with him since unexpectedly seeing him in town with Ugawa, making his chest feel lighter than before. Or maybe Sasaki remembers what Miyano said before - he always seems to - and goes just a little slower. "I love you," Sasaki mumbles between gentle kisses, ghosting his lips against Miyano's while he talks. "I love you, too," Miyano answers almost reflexively. Because he does and he isn't always sure he can show enough just how much Sasaki means to him. So all he can do is tell him in these moments, even if it means his cheeks burn enough for Sasaki to feel the heat near his face. It really shouldn't be so embarrassing to put his affection into words after almost a year of dating, especially not when Miyano just told something much more embarrassing. It's a good thing their mouths get too busy again for him to say anything else after that for a while. "Are you cold, senpai?" Miyano asks when they moved from kissing to just cuddling on the floor eventually, and he notices Sasaki's jacket has slipped down to his wrists. It's still warm during the day, but nights are already starting to get chilly. "Can we stay a little longer if I say yes?" The sky isn't being lit by fireworks anymore, dipping the gym into a soft twilight. It won't be too much longer until someone might start looking for him. There is still work to be done, after all. Rooms to check. Reports to fill out. There are a million things Miyano still has to do. "Yes,"' Miyano says anyway, scooting closer to press against Sasaki, to make sure he is warm. "Just for a little while."
