We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: -It’s ‘sleight of hand’ -It’s ‘bated breath’ -It’s ‘lo and behold’ -It's 'buck naked' -It’s ‘brass tacks’ -It’s ‘free rein’ -It’s ‘toe the line'

Man takes down police over Flock point by point, "You all are shooting yourselves in the foot and losing the public's trust." "We can't regulate ourselves out of this situation. The only way you can align with the public on Flock is to turn the damn things off."

Long before the Council of Nicaea, long before medieval cathedrals, and long before Christianity became a dominant force in the Roman world, Christians were already making an extraordinary confession: Jesus Christ is Lord. And this page from Papyrus 46 one of our earliest physical witnesses to that confession. I just launched the newest manuscript in my facsimile collection and it is none other than the very test of Philippians 2 that contains this amazing “Christ Hymn.” Check it out and get your own personal copy at manuscriptshop.com/products/….

The Flint Hills of Kansas. 12,000 acres of native prairie that has never been plowed. Topsoil is maybe 2 inches deep. Limestone right below the surface. You can't stick a plow in it. So for over 100 years, ranchers have worked WITH this land instead of against it. Every spring, they burn 70-80% of this country on purpose. Prescribed fire clears old growth, forces fresh native grass, and cattle gain an extra 0.2 to 0.4 pounds per day on burned ground. At $3-4/lb, that's real money per head. Ferguson Ranch has been running cattle here since 1919. 300 fall-calving cows. 300-350 spring-calving cows. Mostly black Angus. About 30 days a year, 80% of all the cattle in the Flint Hills get shipped out. Then there's not a hoof on this country until next May. The last unplowed native tallgrass prairie in North America stays that way because ranchers burn it and graze it on a cycle that's been proven for over a century. @SuperiorAuction

RED DAWN hit screens on this day in 1984. Who remembers? PARTISAN ROCK “I never saw the brothers again. In time, this war, like every other war, ended. But I never forgot, and I come to this place often, though no one else does. In the early days of World War III, guerrillas, mostly children, placed the names of their lost upon this rock. They fought here alone and gave up their lives ‘so that this nation shall not perish from the earth.’”

After perusing 25,000 comments in the past two days, most of which attempt to explain why Americans are voting for Communists, socialists, and antisemites in record numbers, I’ve done the only rational thing a man in my position can do; I’ve agreed to go on Real Time with Bill Maher this Friday to talk about it. What could possibly go wrong? I was also inspired by all the "sturm und drang" to make a quick commercial that highlights one of our many scholarship recipients who mastered a trade, and then went on to open her own business. Her name is Maryssa, and while I have no idea what her politics might be, I can assure you that her attitude, her initiative, and her work ethic are proof positive that the American Dream is still in reach, for any who would grab it and go. Currently, we have $10 million in scholarships set aside to help people like Maryssa. People who want to build a prosperous life for themselves by learning a skill that's in demand and going to work. Apply at mikeroweWORKS.org.

10% of all the debt accumulated in the 250 year history of this country will be incurred in the first half of Trump’s second term, with Mike Johnson and John Thune leading Congress. I’m unashamed to have been kicked off “team debt” for not going along with this.

Fauci in 2022: “I am very happy to testify before any congressional oversight committee. I have nothing to hide. I can explain and validate everything that I’ve done. I’m going to do what I need to do, and that is cooperate fully, because we have nothing to hide at all.”

Hear, hear.
“And what about our sins? Slavery was the original sin, and I won’t sand it down. The founders knew it. Jefferson knew it, and he owned slaves — the hypocrisy was staring right at them, and they kept kicking the can down the road. But here is what a poisoned telling of our history leaves out: the New England colonies began rejecting slavery before England itself did. And when the reckoning finally came, hundreds of thousands of men died on battlefields to make other men free. “As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,” read the original lyrics of the Battle Hymn of the Republic. That’s propitiation. One man suffers so others go free. A nation that will bleed that much to right its own wrong is not an evil nation. It is a great one, straining toward becoming a more perfect one. We had a black president. We had a black vice president. Our Secretary of State is the son of Cuban refugees. Anyone telling you the story that nothing here ever gets better is selling you something.” ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…

This is not constitutional. It should be overturned. Americans should know how your elected representatives voted on this.
Every new car in the U.S. will be required by law to have tech that puts constant surveillance on the driver by 2027. AI in your car will determine if you're sober and fit to drive, automatically turning off the vehicle if it determines you're a danger on the road.
