Thank you Governor, while the media ignores them - you have not. Look @Cheynalee_ our girls got a shout out.
Meet Jazmin Ferguson and Jocelyn Ollivierre.
They are not seasoned professionals returning from long careers. They are LSU student-athletes fighting to finish college careers they’ve put years of hard work and grueling effort into.
This is the human reality behind my friend @Georgia_AG Chris Carr’s cable-news rhetoric about pro athletes and the SEC’s claims of harm.
Who is really being harmed here?

BATON ROUGE - Judge William Jorden just approved a preliminary injunction that clears the path for LSU to add players who've signed pro contracts.
The NCAA, SEC and LSU are all enjoined from taking any "actions that negatively impact" the athletes in the case.
This preliminary injunction wasn’t JUST about a few guys who temporarily put on pro uniforms. Our clients include women who want to pursue master’s degrees and, under the NCAA’s new 5-for-5 eligibility rule, should have had that option from the beginning. @TexasTrialGroup

We will have the multiple court certified transcripts from our cases where NCAA witness MR Vaughn confirmed to court if act language came into effect on that day - 2022 athletes would be eligible. Their language is the same - came into effect Aug,1.

Dolly Parton spent decades quietly funding band uniforms and instruments at Black high schools across the South - never once putting her name on it. No headlines, no fanfare — just help, given because it was needed.
Rhinestones on the outside, gold on the inside. 💛

Dolly Parton made over $10M in royalties from Whitney Houston's 1992 cover of "I Will Always Love You" in the '90s alone.
She used that money to invest in a Nashville strip mall in a Black community.
"This is the house that Whitney built."
What a loss. RIP
