With days getting shorter, make sure others can see you on the road. Proper lighting isn’t just a legal requirement - it helps keep everyone safe. Whether you’re driving or cycling, check your lights before you head out.

ALT Remember: - Turn on lights 30 minutes before sunset and keep them on until 30 minutes after sunrise. - If inclement weather affects visibility, turn lights on. - Bicycles are required to have one white light at the front and one red light (or reflector) at the rear from 30 minutes before sunset to 30 minutes after sunrise.

If something online makes you feel uncomfortable, scared or pressured, tell someone - a parent, caregiver, teacher, coach, school counsellor or another trusted adult. You don't have to handle it alone.
