The hardest thing is not thinking I'm not good enough. The hardest is knowing I am, and knowing how Other it is, and all the "friends" in the writing community who labeled me as such while they made promises & lies & progress helped by how many times I put them first. 1/4

I do not compare with others; I compare with where I could've been, what I could've done, and if I hadn't shrugged off behaviours and relationships that only ever existed under the condition of putting me last, I could've been so much more. 3/4

Had to be said; keeping emotions silent—in this case—was also about putting everyone else first. I won't name names; respect for stories is still there. I like to believe they remember too, though. Comments off, DMs/discord open on the off chance conversations want to be had. 4/4
The loudest voices in “ND community” leave NO SPACE for the Unacceptably ND ppl like me. And there’s no way to speak up w/o being vilified more. It’s so accepted, I see ppl do it/condone it while claiming inclusion, w/o even realising. And that hurts, too much at this point.

Thank you to everyone who boosted my #PitchDis tweets yesterday 🌱 I had no plans to take part, just happened to peek in to see a mention of it, so I’m kind of amazed by the support I got 💚 I hope my little Aesthetic (and kinda Synaesthetic) Other book baby finds a home ✨

there should exist a database of templates to fill in with specifics to call in sick from work/school, for when you’re Not Well but are also so gripped with panic/anxiety that you’re considering forcing yourself to go anyway just so you don’t have to figure out the excuse words

this DID Awareness day, take a moment to examine whether your “awareness” comes from popular media depictions about Evil Alters and other villainising tropes, and if yes burn it to the ground and start over
