Standing at 19,341 ft, our 10 climbers were honored to raise the flags of @IronTreeFin, @CaseSystems Inc., & grasshopper.group. These amazing summit sponsors share our dedication to creating lasting, positive change for war-affected youth recovering from trauma.
Thank you!

Day 4:
Today, the climbers took on the Barranco Wall—a steep scramble that tested their determination. From there, they crossed the Karanga Valley & continued to Karanga Camp at ~13,000 ft.
The 4–7-hr trek offered panoramic views of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 3:
The team will ascend to Lava Tower at ~15,000 ft before descending to Barranco Camp, ~12,600 ft.
The “climb high, sleep low” approach helps their bodies adjust to the altitude. During the 6–8-hr trek, they’ll travel through rocky, high-desert landscapes.
Day 2
The team climbed from Machame Camp to Shira Cave—or Shira 2—reaching approx 12,600 feet.
The trail led them out of the rainforest & into moorland with wide views of the Western Breach. The 5–7-hr hike brought new challenges, & incredible scenery.
