NEW: 🇨🇳 China's nuclear fusion research has completed a massive magnet weighing 582 tons.
The goal is an "unlimited energy" artificial sun.
They plan to start the first power generation by 2030.
A safe, CO2-zero ultimate energy race.

Known as the "Nobel Prize of mathematics", the Fields Medal is awarded only once every 4 years to mathematicians under 40. This is even harder than the Nobel Prize!

Chinese coastguards on the bigger boat bonking intruding Filipino navy personnel. I heard one of them had their head cracked.
From the Himalayas to the South China Sea, all we need is a stick to repel intruding pests.

The Philippines and India will be hit the hardest by the AI revolution, which will replace millions of outsourcing jobs in those countries.
Outsourcing is the key pillar industry in india and the philippines, losing them will create a substantial hole in their ability to earn foreign currency, something both countries are lousy at to begin with.
This will not only cripple their foreign exchange reserve, critical for both to buy energy from abroad, it will also leave a gapping hole in their domestic industries, because none of these 2 countries have a firm grasp in the AI space.
Poverty in both countries will increase, income inequality will skyrocket. India may fair a little better than the Philippines, due to its large domestic market and a willingness by naive western companies to invest in it.
The Philippines on the other hand, will drop deeper into destitution, and because of their terrible relations with China, none of the low-end manufacturing capacity that is leaving China due to cost will move to the Philippines.
This will create a cascading effect on the standard of living in the Philippines, more sexpat and predators will exploit their women and children, the tiny percent of rich politicians will get richer, while even the middle class, whom have gotten rich through outsourcing industries or its peripheral industries will be poorer. As the entire ASEAN move towards China, the Philippines is the lone clown dancing to the tune of the United States like monkeys.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe called China “our greatest threat.”
But this is not really about a “China threat.”
It is about American decline meeting a civilization it cannot break.
China has spent decades trying to surpass its own previous stage:
build better industry, better infrastructure, better science, better education, better technology.
America has spent decades trying to prevent others from catching up.
It sanctioned the Soviet Union.
It disciplined Germany.
It crushed Japan’s rise.
It bends Europe into strategic obedience.
It blocks, bans, tariffs, blacklists, and weaponizes every system it controls.
So when Washington says China is a threat, what it really means is:
China is the first rival we cannot easily destroy.
That is the wound.
America grew up believing history ended with itself.
That it was the final empire.
The permanent winner.
The author of rules.
The judge of legitimacy.
The only power allowed to rise without permission.
Yet America has no civilizational memory of humiliation.
It was not colonized.
It was not carved up by foreign powers.
It was not burned, invaded, occupied, sanctioned into weakness, and forced to rebuild from national trauma.
China was.
China understands rise and fall.
Dynasties. Collapse. Humiliation. Revival.
The long rhythm of history.
America understands victory.
So when it finally faces a civilization that grows stronger under pressure, it panics.
Not because China wants to destroy America.
But because America knows what it has done to every weaker country it could dominate.
And now it is terrified by one question:
If we lose our monopoly, will China treat us the way we treated the world?

China has lifted 800 million people out of poverty, has universal healthcare, the best modern infrastructure in the world, and accomplished all this under the Communist Party of China. This terrifies the US ruling class because it undermines capitalism and proves socialism works.

China has put its first Spider-Man-like humanoid robot that sticks to vertical walls into use.
It can handle welding, flaw detection, and rust removal in dangerous environments, keeping humans out of harm's way.
Americans now use Chinese AI models more than US-made ones.

One day ago, a senior Anthropic executive claimed the U.S. still held a 6-to-9 month lead in frontier AI models, while calling Chinese rivals’ model distillation “adversarial.”
One day later, Moonshot’s Kimi K3 beat Claude Fable 5 on Frontend Code Arena.
And the funniest part?
It is an open-weight Chinese model.
So the “6-to-9 month lead” lasted about 24 hours.
Washington calls Chinese progress “distillation,” “theft,” and “national security risk” because admitting the truth is too painful:
China is not waiting outside America’s frontier.
China is already breaking through it.

Key takeaways from President Xi's speech in his first ever appearance at the World AI Conference in Shanghai:
- Started the speech by referring to his signature maxim, "great changes unseen in a century are unfolding across the world"
- Said that the world has "entered an unprecedented period of active innovation on AI technology", which means "great opportunities as well as challenges for governance”
- reaffirmed commitment to open source to promote AI "openness and win-win"
- warns against "over stretching" the concept of national security as applied to AI where one country's national security is prioritised over others
- China opposes emergence of “new historical injustices” in AI (one of the most strongly worded parts of the speech)
- China in next 5 years will provide 5000 opportunities to developing countries in "AI training and seminar programmes" and "cooperation centres" - names ASEAN, League of Arab States, African Union, CELAC, SCO and BRICS
