Head Up, Phone Down. When walking on busy streets or anywhere near railroad tracks, take out those headphones and pay attention. Your life may depend on it. Stop using phones while walking. @PeelPolice #headsupphonedown

Thank you to your parent council for asking us to share valuable #humantraffickingawareness information. We are #StrongerTogether to protect our community
We think #Humantrafficking happens in other parts of the world, did you know people living in Peel have fallen victim to #domestictrafficking? Thanking @PeelPolice for bringing awareness to this issue. This is not just a matter for the police, we're all responsible for our kids

I found 1 of my in-risk students skipping class this week, 2 weeks b4 exams. He was studying for another class. I encouraged him 2 go 2 class. He told me he was going to fail that class - an academic class he was placed in bc the trades class he wanted was canceled by your cuts.

It's best to block this number on your phone and not respond. Sometimes by responding lets them know it is an active number. Glad you were able to identify this as an illegitimate claim.

Don't make judgments about parent's lack of interest in their children's education. You'll probably be wrong. "Walk a mile in their shoes" and understand that what looks like apathy may be exhaustion. #ParentEngagementTip #TipTuesday #ParentEngagement
