It was certainly looking frightening in Brazil, but I am elated Lula pulled it off.

On the DOJ’s announcement of a new Espionage Act indictment: An indictment is an unproven allegation made by the government. Ian Brinksman, like all criminal defendants, is entitled to a presumption of innocence. What is alleged in the indictment is that Brinksman shared information of great public interest with a journalist noted for her critical reporting on U.S. foreign policy. It is an abuse of the Espionage Act and an attack on the First Amendment to bring these charges. Unfortunately, this is all too common and why we will continue to demand reform of the Espionage Act so it can no longer threaten press freedom.

Well, apparently everyone else wore their normal street clothes to Rocky Horror, so I am a bit embarrassed.
Well, what should I wear? Have two hours to figure that out.

Who would guess Rocky Horror with a live shadow cast the week before Halloween would sell out? Apparently, no one I made plans with, as I am the only person who managed to buy a ticket before they sold out.

As reputable news outlet, I would certainly hope Drop Site News would knowingly publish "illegally" obtained classified CIA intelligence, as would any serious journalist if the information was in the public interest.
Did @DropSiteNews knowingly publish illegally obtained classified CIA intelligence? On October 5, the outlet co-published Aída Chávez’s story claiming a secret CIA assessment warned Israel could descend into civil war. That date is now in an FBI leak affidavit🧵

Lula vs. Bolsonaro: I was held in solitary confinement for 1,901 days for revealing the truth about the U.S. government's killings and espionage, including against Brazil and its industries. Out of power, Lula fought for my freedom. In power, Lula discussed my persecution with Pope Francis, who decided to meet with my family and offer help. After my release, Lula and I met in Rome to mourn the Holy Father's passing. Lula was kind to my children and asked for nothing in return. In contrast, Jair and Flávio Bolsonaro did nothing and said nothing. Yet without the ability to say no to Washington and Tel Aviv, there can be no domestic policy, only foreign instructions. Those orders are always the same: "Expand our theft of resources and wages, and keep your mouths shut about us murdering children." Sellouts will surrender everything in exchange for a cut, even their own tongues.

Assuming this is true, it still doesn't justify Saudi Arabia beheading people or make this situation any less tragic.
For those of you who are still being mislead by the fake news of the execution in Saudi. Here is what really happened. Now judge it yourself. Nazrul Islam and Sithi Akter, two Bangladeshi nationals employed as cleaning workers for the Bin Laden Group in Mecca, became romantically involved while commuting to work. Nazrul lived in a residential villa in Hayyal Iskan, while Sithi resided in Batha Kuraysh. In May 2023, the two engaged in illicit relations in a secluded stairwell room between Gates 85 and 87 of Masjidul Haram. Nazrul had asked an Indian acquaintance to stand guard downstairs, but the friend secretly recorded the encounter on video. Later, when the Indian national attempted to make advances toward Sithi and was rejected, he leaked the video online. The video quickly went viral, prompting immediate intervention by Saudi authorities, who successfully apprehended all three individuals. The Indian national received a 20-year prison sentence for recording and distributing the footage. Nazrul Islam and Sithi Akter were detained immediately following their arrest in May 2023. Nazrul had originally arrived in Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh between November 10 and 13, 2022. Following his arrest in May 2023, he remained incarcerated throughout a lengthy three-and-a-half to four-year judicial process leading up to October 2026. Throughout this period, official protocol dictated that the Saudi government notify the employer (sponsor) rather than foreign government authorities. Various rumors circulated online falsely claiming that the individuals were pilgrims performing Umrah or that the charges stemmed merely from public displays of affection. While the defendants were unmarried, the severity of the legal outcome was not solely based on the act of zina (adultery). Because the offense took place within the sacred precincts of Masjidul Haram, the court determined that they had severely violated the sanctity and honor of Islam's holiest mosque. Consequently, senior judges of the Supreme Court handed down the death penalty as an exemplary punishment aligned with Quranic principles and the Sunnah.

A theocratic monarchy that beheads people; an apartheid state carrying out a genocide. We truly have the best allies in the Middle East.
“Stepping up defense of its ally.” Saudi Arabia just beheaded a Bangladeshi couple for kissing in public

No, there is not. And if you find yourself defending the Saudi regime beheading people, you've lost the plot.
Is there *any* act the Bengali couple could have done that would have justified beheading them?

The commander of the Israeli military unit likely responsible for killing 5-year-old Hind Rajab is currently in the U.S. As a party to the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Conventions, our government is obligated to arrest and investigate him for these war crimes and acts of genocide. I stand with @HindRFoundation in calling on the DOJ to follow the law and take action.
🇺🇸🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding the immediate investigation, arrest, and prosecution of Sean Glass, currently present in the United States. Glass commanded the Israeli unit implicated in Hind Rajab's murder. HRF's investigation places the 52nd Battalion—including Glass and his Vampire Empire Company—near her vehicle during the killing. Today, Glass walks free in the U.S. ➡️ More → bit.ly/4iv2Zio

What is the level of bloodlust where you fantasize about shooting protesters in other countries?
Dear France: You can rent 100 rednecks from Florida, we will solve this in 12 hrs.......No rules though.

Glad to see people finally acknowledging this reality.
They started the Iran war together. They crack down on press freedom together. They lie about everything together.  Authoritarians of a feather flock together.

This must be that foreign election interference I heard so much about.
Netanyahu to Americans: If you're worried about today's gas prices, think of what will happen if Iran gets nuclear weapons, something that Trump and I will never allow. And when that happens, when that threat of that regime disappears, gas prices will go down. But only under Trump. It's not going to happen with those who want to accommodate and appease these tyrants.

As far as I can tell, a lot of this started getting promoted when Europe didn't completely fall in line behind US-Israeli war against Iran. Elon's regulatory woes in Europe also seems to be a factor here.
My feed is totally full of US vs Europe slop lately. Starting to find that a bit suspicious tbh

Are there any other Egyptian political groups candidates for office in Michigan need to preemptively disavow?
Q: Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood? El-Sayed: Yes. Why are you asking the question? Do you assume that I wouldn’t? Q: Yes, because I have not heard you disavow them yet. El-Sayed: Have you disavowed them? I have not heard you disavow them yet.
