The Redfish were on fire today. Long time repeat customer Jeffrey from Black Mountain, NC had all he could handle. The Nor’easter nearly had me cancel but he insisted on trying anyway.. glad we went, as it’s days like this you remember for yrs.
Summer sharks are still here. Not sure they’ll still be here after tomorrow’s first big temp drop, but always great to see them here this late. Healthy scene.
Is there an animal with teeth this specifically built for its prey like a tiger shark has for a turtle?
Lemons and Blacktips this morning and then we ended it on a Tiger Shark. Love it!
Water temp is hanging around 78° a couple more days before this Nor’easter hits.
Hard to beat October in South Carolina.
Customer from Minnesota with a fiberglass reproduction from a big tiger we caught nearshore. What a statement.
Wear your sunblock.
Anyone who’s young and in the sun a lot, I’m begging you. Takes 30 sec’s to put it on, or it’s staples to your skin later in life.
I’m lucky.
Brantley from TN with some redfish and sharks this morning. We missed a giant hammer but you can’t win em all. Water temp is still blazing hot at 83° but it won’t be after Tuesday. Hard to beat SC in October.
The last thing a tarpon see’s before going down the chute.
We stuck a camera in the mouth of this giant hammer for a couple of seconds Monday. Not the usual shot, but thought it was a pretty cool perspective.
Finally came off the injured reserve this morning and got a good one with a group from Clarksville, TN.
Took some quick pics, popped the hook out and sent her off.
Pretty cool situation yesterday off Cape Cod. Great White Shark “Freeman” that we caught and tagged here in SC made an appearance in Mass while Dr Skomal and Dr Winton were out tagging sharks. They put a GoPro in the water to get some shots to confirm it was her. Love to see.
Great White Shark “Aftco” pinging in this week just north of the Maine border in the Bay of Fundy. We caught this girl in December off Hilton Head, she’s traveled over 1500 miles since the release.
Thanks to the @A_WhiteShark for the tags and interest in our sharks.
If you’re in the HH area, order this new Great White Shark Ale this week only & enter to win a FREE charter with us. Someone’s going to win. Also, $1 will be donated to @A_WhiteShark for every Ale ordered, which is the org that’s had great interest in our sharks and send tags.
Lots of tigers the last few days, and this hammerhead yesterday. Water temp still holding around 89 to 90°.
Released a nice tiger shark this morning, 30 mins later we got a hammer. This week has been one for the books.
Mathew from England with his 4th Tiger Shark in 2 days. Lots of bulls, lemons too. I’m supposed to be complaining, but this is the best it’s been in years. All released.
Giant bull, got 2 today. Water is now going back and forth between 88-90° ..blazing due lack of rain here. Catching more bulls than any summer at the moment. First time there’s more bulls than lemons, great time to fish, bad time to swim.
Nearshore water hit 88° and the sharks are firing. Jay from Pittsburgh with a good catch and release this morning and mentioning this was exactly what he wanted. His mom & dad were coaching him on, it’ll be a 4th they won’t forget 🇺🇸
