I just played Sonic the Hedgehog NES Improvement vol. 2, which is a romhack of Somari, for the first time, and I have to say… Playing fucking SOMARI as HYPER SONIC is the most therapeutic and cathartic experience I’ve ever had in my entire life
For context, the original Somari has extremely sluggish controls and the gameplay is really slow. I’ve been playing it for nearly 6 years, so I’m very used to how it plays, and getting to play it as HYPER SONIC just feels absolutely insane
Okay MJ is great but what is up with the game he’s in.. 5-4 and 6-1 from SMB1, graphics from NSMBDS, music from DS and NSMBU, sfx from SMB1 and Sonic for some reason??
